The Islam religion traces its way back to Ishmael who was the son of Abraham as we Jacob and Esau. There were some tangential exegetic references to Esau as well as Jacob the clear lineage to Joseph. Jacob sons were the fathers of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 4th eldest was Judah the lineage of David from which Jesus descends.
Ishmael was the first son of Abraham with Hagar and always at odds with the Jacobean lineage. Islam recognizes Ishmael to be an early prophet of Islam. But Ishmael is a son of Jacob who had three wives. I am simply pointing out the history. It is recorded in the word. You don’t have an argument with me, you have an argument against God.
