President Biden’s decision to step aside as the expected Democratic nominee in November has “nothing to do with his health,” his top spokesperson said Wednesday ahead of his prime-time address to the nation.
“It has nothing to do with his health. The president is going to speak to this directly to the American people in prime time,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing.
“In his letter he talked about the country, he talked about the party, he talked about the moment we’re in right now,” she continued. “It is not about his health. I can say no, that’s not the reason. But hear him out tonight.”
Jean-Pierre also rejected the idea that she and White House aides were engaged in a “cover up” to mask Biden’s decline from the public.
“There’s been no cover up, want to be very clear about that,” she said.

Well, it’s now been officially denied, so it was true.
Either they are profoundly stupid, they sincerely believe the American public is profoundly stupid, or both.
I guess they’re going to give him the right juice for tonight, unlike the formula he got before the debate.
Debate formula was meant to expose his dementia and take him out. Tonight’s injections will be to make him sound somewhat alert, so he can ride out the term.
Old Fuzzy head is right as the Demonrats saw the handwriting on the wall about Plugs Biden, but they are saddled with the Tarbaby Commie Harris who they can’t get rid of..Once you get Harris on your hands you can’t get rid of it...

The Independents who voted for Biden in 2020 are having buyer’s remorse, and will likely be voting Trump this time. The internal polling must be REALLY bad for Joe if the Rats are dumping him.
For once she’s right. If he was trouncing Trump in the polls they’d keep him on no matter how feeble he got.
WTF isn’t every Republican congressman demanding that he step down? NOW. If he can’t run, he can’t preside. How much more do you need? We are so screwed. Well, that could mean that those States which have already, by law or statute, locked in the Democrat Party presidential party slate may (again, according to the laws of that State) refuse to allow the Democrat Party to change the ballot entry because a lot of those States require either death or serious illness to withdraw a candidate entry. If he’s going to insist that it was not for reasons of health, he may be giving the Republicans a very large legal stick to oppose any changes in the ballots.
Oh so if that’s the case he can run for President then..oh wait, we all know what really went on here..Biden was told “You cant beat Trump, so if you refuse to leave, we are gonna release EVERYTHING, the Hur tape, all the goodies about you raping your daughter, EVERYTHING”

I wouldn’t take that too seriously. The courts always fix D problems of this nature.
They try to compare it to LBJ in 1968.
Of course it makes no sense.
LBJ chose not to run before the primaries. He knew he would lose.
Biden ran in the primaries and got 87% of the vote, 14 million votes total, and almost all delegates.
Biden’s going to say he’s passing the baton to the next generation. He won’t admit it’s because he would lose the election. Hell say he’d win easily if he ran but he’s building the future.
But just a week or two ago he said only God Almighty could make him not run.
