I can’t believe no one has thought to ask her about her ludicrous “sloped roof” excuse for not having anyone on the critical rooftop, and demand that she explain WHY she said that. It has come up, but no one has nailed her to the wall on it. There is no innocent explanation for that, because it makes absolutely no sense. I think at the time she said it, she had already tossed out several other completely different excuses, all of which landed with a thud, so she just pulled a complete lie out of her backside. They need to show that she lied about that one, and then ask why she lied.

The gun control angle is of course expected from the despicable dems, but there is an easy way to shut that nonsense down, and not a single Republican has thought of it. Here it is: If the Secret Service’s protective plan can be pierced by a lowly AR-15 wielded by a local 20 year old kid, then how are they supposed to defend their “protectees” against sophisticated state bad actors, terrorists, etc. equipped with much heavier weaponry like rocket launchers, IEDs, etc.? The dems are trying to give the impression that if we just eliminated “evil” “assault weapons”, then the President could ride around in a convertible in complete safety. The reality is that of all the threats they are SUPPOSED to be prepared to defend against, small caliber rifles should be at the lower end of that spectrum. The design of “The Beast” certainly indicates so.
The other point that should be made is that regardless of the type of weaponry possessed by a bad guy, the priority must always be to STOP the threat before they are able to use their weapon. That makes the specific type of weapon far less important than the dems are trying to make out.
