'CRACK SHOT' I sat next to ‘evil’ Donald Trump shooter as he honed his ‘dead-eye’ gun skills on shooting range days before the attack

THE gunman who came within inches of assassinating Donald Trump honed his shooting skills on a range just days before the attack....Bill Jenkins, who has spoken to the FBI, told The Sun on Sunday: “I was sitting next to evil. I haven’t been able to sleep thinking about it.”

Crooks, who brought his own 9mm handgun, was such a crack shot on the elite training course that he blew a large hole in a shooting target with a volley of precision rounds....

...Bill and Crooks had signed up to the intermediate handgun-pistol 2 class at Keystone ­Shooting Centre in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, on June 22.

The range is a 50-minute drive from Crooks’ home in Bethel Park.

There is somewhat informed suspicion from analysis of the audio from Trump’s microphone, that there was a snipper in the same building Crooks was on top of, but no known witnesses or video footage of that snipper if he exists. There is though at least one eyewitness, Greg Smith who saw simultaneously Crooks positioned on the roof and a snipper in a second story window in a building adjacent to the building Crooks was on. Smith is reported to have said that he thought the snipper in the window should have been able to have seen Crooks from that position, but did nothing to stop Crooks even after Crooks started shooting.

Achieving that level of incompetence without planning would be a big string of coincidences.

I think Crooks got 5 shots off.

I believe that Crooke got 8 shots off. That is based on the audio track from the Trump microphone. A ninth shot at the end is the counter-sniper fire that killed Crooke.

From first to last shot is 15 seconds.

For those who believe in a second assassin, the first three shots are very different from the next five. They are at a slower cadence and the timing of the "snap-crack" sequence means they were lower velocity rounds. That is "Gun #1". The next five rounds are at a much faster cadence and the "snap-crack" sequence means they were higher velocity rounds. That is "Gun #2". The ninth shot at the end is also very different. That is "Gun # 3". That last shot was almost certainly from the counter-sniper on Team 2.

Pretty damming stuff.

They are using audio track from the Trump microphone. They have some very good analytical software, but it is not necessary. You can hear the differences in the gunshots quite plainly.

Does it prove there was a second assassin? Not necessarily.

I can get a "two-gun" acoustic pattern by loading mixed ammunition types in a magazine. I believe that Crooke mistakenly topped off his magazine with three bullets of a substantially different grain weight than what was in the rest of the magazine. When he was unsure whether he had hit his target, he did a "spray-and-pray" action and paused to see if he made a hit. Then the counter-sniper got him.

I am holding to the single assassin theory, primarily on the strength of the TMX video, which appears to show the entire sequence of the shots. Sort of like the "Zapruder film" of the JFK assassination. But the TMX video does not have a clear audio track. I could be mistaken that it shows all eight shots.

I cannot account for two of the eight shots either. Perhaps they went high and confused the counter-snipers from Team 1. That guy on the left appears to flinch, then resets his tripod. Did a high shot appear as incoming fire to those guys on the Team 1 position? I bet they were not expecting that.

I believe Crooke was the single assassin. I do not believe he acted alone. He was told where the security gap would be and what to do when he got there. I believe he had tacit assistance from a number of people, included two people in the security detail who planned the layout of the counter-sniper teams. The security gap was intentional.

If there was a second assassin, the picture gets quite a bit worse.

Were he a "crack shot," the hole would have been very small, not "large."

I have three. They are not equal quality, that's for sure. The same two Martenson used and one other. It's notable that Martenson used the worst quality option. He didn't have to. Makes one wonder why.

I agree, there should be many of them. And would be interesting one day to get them all and build a consistent acoustic picture. Well, interesting for people like me anyway.

Yes, although that hasn't settled the Oswald debate. But people need to keep in mind, it's only been a week. It's not that the investigation isn't being done. It's that it's not finished, and there have been no official statements about all the details of the incident. We need to see what all the evidence is. Patience is required.

The agents wanted to carry Trump off but he insisted on standing up. I think that had they carried him off that ear wound would have been fatal.

First of all, he had two recordings and chose to use the crappiest one for his analysis. Hmmmm. I've seen people do things like that when using the best evidence doesn't get them where they want to go.

Second, doesn't matter what it sounds like to him on that crappy recording. That's not evidence. There is empirical evidence on these recordings. That's what matters.

The crack is a shockwave from a supersonic bullet. There is a directional aspect to it, yes. But it doesn't need to pass near you to hear it.

Those are the news reports so far. I believe Crooks fired six shots. There are three other shots in that first 16 seconds. The first other shot comes between Crooks' 5th and 6th, the next one a few seconds later. Those are both rifle shots. There is another shot later.

Yes, the video was interesting and from my perspective fact filled. I loved the scene where the head exploded. I presume that’s similar to what Crooks experienced. If Crooks was not brainless before he took the shot, he certainly was after he took the shot.

Based on the video it’s apparent Crooks used a red dot placed a little too far forward without magnification. I’ve played with my Aimpoint and turned it down to a fine dot without the 3x magnifier and get some pretty good shots in at 100 yards. I’m an ordinary shooter, nothing special, and at 100 yards I can easily hit a volley ball sized target.

With that said, so could any average shooter such as Crooks at 130 yards. The video made it clear had Trump not turned his head the round would have done some serious brain damage.

And yes, the round will not deform going through soft ear tissue and do no damage other than that soft tissue.

I do see the probability of two shooters, but I want to see the ballistic/forensic proof of it, not some long drawn out theories that cannot be proven without actual evidence. Until then Crooks is it.

Good theory. Probably wanted to confirm his secret drone monitoring surveillance with the plans and movements of Secret Service and police.

If only the good guys could be so coordinated. Apparently, if true (among the lies) the local police were supposed to take over that out of perimeter building sweep duties and one allegedly didn’t show up but no one told the Secret Service. Probably false in an attempt to shift blame to police unfairly.

But the killer would never have left something to chance like that.

In Reference to the hollow weapon fire sounds after the first three rounds:
What i'm referring to is the crack sound before you hear the weapon sound. Which is the bullet passing camera before you hear the weapon going off. There was no crack-bang which is a clear sign of a super sonic ballistic fired in the direction or toward the direction of the camera. There was also no bang-crack which suggest the bullets left the weapon and ended up close to the weapon itself.

I would like to see the roof of that building. i suggest someone inside the building fired through the roof pinning or wounding Crooks. Which is fine. I'm just trying to figure out what happened.
