There was a surreal scene at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday as irate senior senators chased the embattled director of the U.S. Secret Service into a women's bathroom.
'You answer to us!'
'You can't hide from us!'
Senators Marsha Blackburn and John Barrasso shouted and pointed angrily - pursuing Secret Service director Kimberly A. Cheatle through the lobby of Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum and up a flight of stairs.

Jesus will be the ultimate judge. You can see the democrats are flailing. Everything they’ve tried hasn’t worked. Is it because they have ideologues running their party and not intelligent people?
Did any of the Benghazi survivors ever testify? Had it not been for the 4 special ops guys, they all might have been killed!
Noted. I will follow up with my congress critter.
VERY INTERESTING!!! THANKS LIZ!
All of this is incompetence talk is diversion. They had eyes on him and let him take the shots. This fact needs to be screamed and screamed again

The evidence is they had eyes on him for several minutes and WOULD NOT REMOVE TRUMP FROM THE STAGE!
Why are we waiting for answers?
If she were a conscientious manager, the Director would have contacted the local Secret Service site manager on the day before the rally and asked for a detailed briefing via zoom about the plans for protecting Trump. If she had bothered to do this, she would have immediately recognized that the Secret Service did not have an effective plan.
And they couldn’t send more to cover Trump? He asked and was denied but they sure gave her majesty Jill all the cover she wanted.
Yup......with all those numbers.....not to mention personnel from DHS, DEA, DOJ, etc.
Pretty bad when they say all the different agencies were on their own radio channels and no plan for coordination among them.
When the SS makes mistakes people die.
A plan?.
Don’t care. Meaningless.
According to the operational plan, line by line what tasks were not performed and in each instance who was responsible.
Who ordered the stand down? Agents don’t fail to execute their duties, they are ordered not to.
Literally everything you hear besides facts related to what I’ve outlined above is BS.
Stop the mindless speculation and demand a public investigation.
Barring that there will be no truth and no justice.
That is a great one! Love it!
Back in 1963, when murdering a President was a state, not a federal crime, the Dallas police department showed the world the rifle they claimed Oswald used. What possible reason would there be to withhold a photo of the rifle SS/FBI claim was used by Crooks?
Crooks is dead and beyond any worldly prosecution. We are told he was the only shooter, so again, where’s the photo of the rifle?
Trump is going to need to hire his own security and purge the Secret Service.
y/v/w
<>they did strip his protection, only one reason to want that.<>
Lessee:
Three and a half years of Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.
Two impeachments.
Four(?) indictments and trials falling apart.
Gee, given the Deep State failures listed above, what is the next logical step to rid democrats of that fascist ex-President?
We saw it last Saturday.
All assassins on hit jobs want people to apply Hanson’s Razor rather than implicating the true culprits.
Tell you what; I’m starting to get a little worried about the increasing desperation to keep Trump out. How far *would* they go?
Me too.
This smacks of total incompetence. Yes, some aspects of this are odd, but stop and think. Your three-letter Federal agencies would not have left it to chance. They would not have allowed a 20-year-old nutcase to screw this up. There would have been another sniper who would not miss. The 20-year-old oddball takes the fall, the government denies and obfuscates for fifty years, all parties are dead, and the truth comes out. That's how the government works. What I find odd was the people shorting Trump's social media stock the day before. There may be corporate hands in this. They are not as experienced and never expected the shooter to miss a 150 yard chip shot with an AR platform.
I'm afraid I have to disagree with one point. Anecdotally, (locally) HVAC, electricians, plumbers, and other trades flourish as younger men forgo the military for trade schools or apprenticeships. College is a waste of time, so VA education benefits don't look as good as they used to. The military is having trouble finding recruits because, like being a cop, there is no upside. The military is no longer respected because of Milley and the current DEI SecDef. They have created a DEI institution and have pissed away their legacy recruits. Former military parents do not want their children to join the current military, and for good reason. Many good men and women do still join, but they are getting harder to find.
You cannot let a system erode for fifty years and expect someone to step in and fix it. So, I guess we are screwed better get more ammo.
