If she were a conscientious manager, the Director would have contacted the local Secret Service site manager on the day before the rally and asked for a detailed briefing via zoom about the plans for protecting Trump. If she had bothered to do this, she would have immediately recognized that the Secret Service did not have an effective plan.
Pretty bad when they say all the different agencies were on their own radio channels and no plan for coordination among them.
“she would have immediately recognized that the Secret Service did not have an effective plan.”
I could be wrong, but her comments about the “dangerous” sloped roof, make me wonder if Cheatle would recognize anything. Is anything known about her expertise with field operations, and the ability to conceptualize structures and terrain into a security plan? She seems like a generic personnel manager/HR type, brought in by Jill Biden to pursue the DEI agenda. I hope Congress quizzes her about real security work she has done herself.
