Glad to hear it did make it over that far. Don’t expect it to cool off a whole lot though. Be happy with the 80s. I sure am, though I do wish the humidity would drop more. Still steamy here but 80s are better than upper 90s or triple digits.
Now if it would just stay this way!

Nothing to worry about. Trump was probably running a little late so they killed time with some tunes. He’s there now and lookin’ good. :-)

I’m happy enough! It’s still July and supposed to be on the warm side. Just not insufferable like it’s been. If we can hang on to this through August, we’ll be doin’ good!

Now THAT’s a long drive! Are you actually driving? Ugh! It will be worth it, though, to see family.

I doubt if they move closer. My son has signed up to receive a 2nd Masters Degree, this time in philosophy. Also, Piper, his oldest, will start to college this coming year. She decided to do that instead of staying one more minute in high school. Besides, they dislike this part of the state. I don’t blame them. LOL!

Yes! They are happy and we are happy! I hope that it's getting there, too!

Hiya radu!

Yeah, we are in a hot spell, my A/C is working but Robin's A/C just went out so they're using fans and spending a lot of time in the cooler basement.

Problem is many people's A/C died so her HVAC guys won't get parts in to repair it until July 24. But she and the pups are surviving.

That’s not good. I hope she gets a repair guy over there very soon!

I hadn’t seen Franklin I =n a while and when I looked up at the TV, I thought I was looking at Billy. He looks just like his dad!

I got choked by laughter when Kid Rock was on. That cracked me up. The crowd didn’t seem to know what to think at first but they got into it. LOL

And now we FINALLY get to our former and future President!

WOW! I haven’t seen our forecast that far out. I sure hope it’s as good here as it’ll be there!

I hope so, too. And I hope that both of us get some of that rain their promising.

Yikes! At least she has the basement to hang out in. They ARE cooler. Maybe luck will be with her and a repairman will be able to get to her sooner. You never know.

I’ve kept my thermostat set higher than normal in hopes of keeping my fairly old unit running throughout our several hot weeks. It’s worked so far and now it gets a little break with the front that just came through. Leaving the thermostat where it’s been though. That unit needs to make it through the rest of the summer and longer, with luck. It’s past its prime.

Good luck! I heard the heat’s going to be horrendous on that side of the country.
