BREAKING: Per @MarkHalperin , Biden will announce his withdrawal as soon as Sunday, followed by an OPEN Democrat convention between Kamala and three or more rivals. Biden will NOT endorse his VP and will NOT resign the presidency.
I had been hoping that Biden would hang on to the bitter end, since I feel that would hurt other Dim candidates. But if Biden does fold to the pressure to drop out of the race, my hope has been that he would not resign but serve out the remainder of his term. It would be a constant reminder of the disaster that has been the Biden presidency while showcasing the idiocy of Kackler Harris (if she ends up being the nominee).

I hope you are correct, but many many Dems have made it clear that not replacing Biden with a "woman of color" is not acceptable, since Harris is the next in line and they would blow up the party over it.
So we know and more importantly they know V.P. Harris would get steamrolled because she is an obvious idiot.
Therefore the Dems have to replace Biden with someone who could realistically beat Trump without making a large chunk of the Party furious that they are replacing Harris.
Only Michelle Obama could do this and she would motivate the base to do whatever it took to steal the election from Trump.
