The instinctive reaction to any bad event in DC is always to circle the wagons instead of doggedly and openly pursuing the facts.

They were well aware of the suspicious subject and had plenty of time to take protective actions. They didn’t even warn the Trump team of the impending danger. Simply inexcusable.

Yes! We are being utterly scammed AGAIN. I don’t buy their excuses for a second, not for a second. They tried to have Trump killed last Saturday.
I find it no coincidence whatsoever it happens immediately after that bad debate performance Biden had which put Trump ahead in the polls, PLUS he also got the documents case thrown out. So the regime had enough, and they had this kid all set up and trained, the agents with the psychology degrees got this kid with low self esteem and talked him into killing “todays Hitler, be a hero to your nation son” they trained him and Saturday they called him and cleared a path for him.
Notice NOTHING was done to him until AFTER he shot Trump and Trump was down, then they took him out. Only Trump lived. I bet the bastards thought he had a fatal head shot when they saw the blood.
Exactly so whether they were understaffed or not is not relevant. They had staff on scene who had eyes on a guy with a rifle on a roof with line of sight on an Ex President for almost half an hour minimum and did nothing until he got 6 shots off.
There are sloped roofs on the White House, snipers are up there all the time.
They weren’t too good with FDR in 1933 either.
Or put a wireless camera on a pole at the rear of the building Crooks was on.
(It appears there was a line of sight issue when it comes to the snipers on the roof behind Trump — I’m not sure they ever got off a shot.)
Why would SS be protecting anyone but Americans? Even so, it was days before and they “had to have a few days off” to practice holstering weapons, covering instead of ducking, and listening to noises on the metal roof over the head of the sniper team peering out windows?

I have not seen them give an excuse yet as to why trump wasn’t pulled from the stage. The only thing they can use is comm channels but even then someone could have walked over and told someone
Well there really isn’t a viable excuse is there? So where does that leave us. I would love to see the victim’s families bring suit. Perhaps with millions of dollars of compensation on the line a genuine pursuit of truth could be forced
