His demeanor was great. His speaking style was finr, but he went on much too long. I could have read tge 90 page platform in the time he has been speaking.
One cannot even compare Trump with Biden. How can any democrat honestly believe that Biden could go toe to toe with Trump unless Trump is bound and gagged?

The most important part of the speech was the begining.
The basic bones of a structured, scripted speech and a lot of ad-lib.

Yes, this is his first speech after the assassination attempt. Let him go on. For those too tired, there will be recordings to watch tomorrow. I think this is healthy, as you say therapeutic.

He was rolling for the first 30 minutes. Should've wrapped it up then.
The first rule of show business is always leave them wanting more.
Drew, I see this speech in several different ways. He has our vote, he’s talking to All Americans, those who are just tuning in and willing to listen. Its a conversation.
Secondly, he’s not at a rally. This is a different venu, different audience. Moreover, it hasn’t been a week since looking death in TBE eye. That changes a person. And too he’s on meds for the wound. No doubt that has an effect on his energy.
So maybe this isn’t the speech you think he needs to give. But I promise you this speech being seen by someone the media has been labeling a bully, hitler, orange man bad is resonating. They are questioning everything they have been told.
So this is a deep breath, basking in love after near death, conversing with The country as a whole and winning over those who yesterday would not consider giving him their trust. That’s how I see this speech. For his intent and purpose, its very very good.
President Trump should wrap it up. His audience doesn’t have the stamina that he has. The guy could stand there for another hour or two. Does he ever sleep??

For a few horrible minutes last Saturday night, I thought I would never hear him speak live again.
He told you his feelings. He has lifted himself up and is going on with life. I am thrilled for him.
Agreed. I’m loving this. It’s my superbowl of politics. Trump is the most amazing politician of my lifetime. Absolutely love him.
