Law enforcement officials investigating the assassination attempt on Donald Trump told lawmakers Wednesday that 20 minutes passed between the time U.S. Secret Service snipers first spotted the gunman on a rooftop and the time shots were fired at the former president, according to several law enforcement officials and lawmakers briefed on the matter.
Officials said the snipers spotted the suspect, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, on the roof of a building outside the security zone at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, at 5:52 p.m. ET. The shooting happened at 6:12 p.m. ET, 20 minutes later, the sources said. In the days since the shooting, the Secret Service has come under scrutiny for its response to the assassination attempt and there have been calls for the director, Kim Cheatle, to resign.
The revelation of the timeline came as sources told ABC News that Crooks searched on his phone for images of President Joe Biden and former President Trump and searched for the dates of Trump’s rally in Butler and for dates of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The appropriate House committee should call every secret service person who was on the site and require them to take a lie detector test.
I’m still waiting for a concise timeline. I’ve heard all kinds of things. Seen but not the rifle. Discovered by the local Police Officer. Ducked behind the peak of the roof. Engaged by more than one CS team. In no particular order.

They spotted the assassin and took a lunch break until after the shooting started and Trump ducked additional shots

There was one split screen that showed Trump on the bottom and the snipers up top. You can hear the first shot and see the sniper jump as if startled. If you really look they had that kid dialed in and were just waiting to turn his lights out. They let him take 8 shots before they took action.

That’s what I saw. SS had the sights on Crooks.
I’m sure he doesn’t want to risk “six ways from Sunday” treatment of himself if he should run for President again later.
But you have to go where the evidence leads, because if the Deep State knows it can do whatever heinous thing it wants no matter how blatant because nobody is willing to entertain the idea that they could be doing those heinous crimes, it guarantees that they keep that heinous crime as one of the “six ways from Sunday” that they can and will use. And that also means that everybody else - not just Cruz himself - has to be aware of the risks of standing up to them.
An innocent man is dead today because one of the “six ways from Sunday” that they’re testing out is assassination and he was caught in the crossfire.
Mayorkas is doing the same thing with election fraud. Keep the border wide open to import ballots to cheat with. To them it’s like a game. But innocent people are being destroyed because of that “game” and so we HAVE to call it what it is, stop it, and prosecute the perpetrators.
And where does Chuck Schumer get off thinking the Constitution makes it optional for the Senate to try an impeachment that the House passes? They can’t just ignore what the Constitution gives them as a responsibility. Or at least they shouldn’t be able to. The only way the Senate will be forced to do it, though, is if somebody takes it to SCOTUS.
“Trump said he suffered a bullet wound to his right ear.” Trump said!!!!! Go to hell ABC!!!!! No question, these people want Trump dead. Just basic reporting. Did you see the blood? Did you see the wound? It’s on your own d8mn video. Still not convinced? Did you interview hospital personnel? What about the Secret Service? Was that part of the briefing? No, it’s more important to keep this trope alive that this is all fake.
Just too much for ABC to write, “Trump suffered a wound to his ear.”
Has anyone bothered to ask why Trump was allowed to go on while the guy with a rifle was getting set? This cost the fireman his life!

With visions of cash pallets dancing in their heads, some Iranian jihadis probably demanded more for the job that the DS would pay. So instead, the DS decided to go with an impressionable local loner they'd been toying with on the internet. The only drawback was the DS would have to take care of more of the logistics, and make it easy for the greenhorn, but they were sure they could bury the facts and erase their fingerprints. What could go wrong. Easy peasy.
