the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump was "shocking," but it really wasn't. It was awful and depressing, of course, but I can't say that I was shocked.
The Democrats have done everything they could since 2016 to make last Saturday happen, dutifully aided and abetted by their flying monkeys in the mainstream media.
... unhinged ... they have been behaving since Trump was elected.
Matt wrote yesterday that Tucker Carlson had predicted this last year:
“If you begin with criticism, then you go to protest, then you go to impeachment, now you go to indictment and none of them work. What’s next? Graph it out, man. We’re speeding towards assassination, obviously," he said in an interview with comedian and podcaster Adam Carolla.
...
As Matt's post details, the MSM hacks were all over Carlson for that, calling it a conspiracy theory.
If there is one thing that we on the Right have learned since the pandemic, it's that "conspiracy theory" is leftist code for "They're correct, but we can't admit that."
The reaction from the Left has been pathetic and predictable. There have been a lot of variations of "Well, he kind of brought this on himself." David Frum vomited up some drivel at The Atlantic where he tried to draw a line connecting Trump supporters who legally open carry at rallies and the guy who tried to kill Trump.
...
While I do think that the assassination attempt opened the eyes of people who don't spend all day paying attention to politics, I can't believe that it locked up the race. It was just a few days ago that I was warning against being exuberant right now. That curmudgeonly skepticism is still coursing through my veins.

“They wanted an assassination, not an attempted assassination”
Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding! You win the prize!
I'm not buying it. A person who is reserved in nature, successful in school, has no drug abuse, and shows great empathy for old people and others around them, doesn't wake up one day and decide to go kill an ex-president. This whole thing has the stink of the deep state all over it.
Any mention of Trump’s Republican enemies?
Get Trump has been bipartisan..
As it should be. That, and concern for what else will happen in the coming months.
Agreed, but he isn’t currently in office. Does he have the authority to do that?

Everything in it’s Time. Life is a continual time of Seasons. A time for Peace, a time for War, a time for Forgiveness, a time for grieving…….I have learned long ago to accept the Times one may be in, but do realize Time passes, one Season passes away for another Season.
Let’s start with the Dems for a change.
Not now, but IF our .gov had anything to do with JFK’s assassination, that would justify a total overhaul of our corrupted.gov agencies from the ground up and a path to our Restoration.
I fully agree that the Left was so obsessed with keeping Trump from winning that assassination was never off the table. With Jack Smith’s phony documents trial now evaporated, Trumps conviction on phony charges in New York certainly to be shot down on appeal and the Fani Willis indictments in disarray due to her ethics issues, the Left had to be praying for an assassination. By God’s grace Trump survived an attempted assassination, but the Left’s desperation to take out Trump is still there and I fear they may be driven to even more heinous methods.
This whole thing has the stink of the deep state all over it.

Think Spiritually, our “ Deep State” and government is under demonic control and influence. Spiritual battles are won by Prayer, and often by “ evil destroying evil”.
Pray for Discernment and Justice.
Comey is a Republican.
McCabe a Republican.
The Dems needed Republicans like that to do their deeds.
Let’s not just ignore the Republican Swamp..
Ecclesiastes, good point.
About 2 inches I'd say, maybe less.
In terms of distance:
About ½" to skull damage, 1" to cracking his skull open like an egg.
In terms of time? Less than a second to turn his head.
Frum sadly is a Canadian who was a writer and confidant to GW Bush during his administration. Always been a nutter.
