This is a thorough and thoughtful discussion on the assassination attempt on Trump. The discussion is between two ex-Military one of whom is a trained and field hardened sniper.
The video is an hour, but the key takeaways are:
1) The snaps that are heard when Trump is hit are the sonic booms from the bullets passing by the mic and not the gun shots
2) The delay in the snipers' shooting the assassin could be attributed to three things:
o The time it takes to acquire target through a sniper scope which has a very small field of view
o Not knowing if the sniper was a friend or foe, i.e. could have been a local officer placed on the roof
o Delay in communicating information provided by crowd to the snipers via multiple lines of communication
They are not certain, but believe the assassin got off shots before being killed more from incompetence than a conspiracy. They also believe the key failures were associated with not securing the roof or identifying the assassin as he walked to the building and ascended to the roof.

In this day and age with drones, video cameras everywhere, etc why
1) Why was the roof not survealed and secured?
2) Why was the ladder not detected and/or removed.
3) Why couldn’t the spectators get LEO’S attention?
After all they even weld sewer covers down in Times Square for New Years Eve celebrations. It is incredulous to me that these issues allowed the shooter to succeed; sheer incompetence by so-called “professionals”. I shudder to think that this was a cordinated deep state operation so prove me wrong.
These are the three FUNDAMENTAL questions that will solve the mystery.
Or at least cut 3/4 of the way through the middle of the upper rungs so that they break causing the perp to fall off the ladder.
I'm convinced that President Donald J. Trump should put together His own Private Security Team consisting of Retired Military, Bikers and Patriotic Militia equipped with All the latest technology, hardware, weaponry and other equipment.
Maybe even go through the Southeastern States and round up a dozen or so of multi-generational Deliverance Type Folks to be Doormen and Security Checkpoint Greeters.

Both local police and the Secret Service were notified by dozens of people in the crowd that an armed man was climbing the building to get to the roof.
The Secret Service called it in to Command and Control for sure.
Command and Control is where the conspiracy lies.
They intentionally refused to notify Secret Service people on the stage to get President Trump down on the ground and then off the stage.
Can’t be any worse. People complained about the shooter for 2 minutes before the shots fired and nothing done…

This guy was so long-winded, but I did hear one detail I wouldn’t have known: about the snap of the bullet passing by, as distinct from the bullet leaving the chamber, sounding like two shots.
Still no excuse for the adjacent rooftop not being covered in advance.

the tower is almost 120 yrds from the shooter.
He should have been dead before getting a single shot off.
No doubt there will photos showing it was in fact manned.
I wonder if the water tower was secured? I bet it was.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they wasted a resource to stand guard at the base of the water tower.
