Late Saturday, the FBI identified the shooter – the attempted assassin – of President Donald Trump as Thomas Matthew Crooks. Crooks was also allegedly the one who shot and killed a man who attended Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania and critically injured two others.
According to Newsweek:
CBS News reported that Crooks had a rifle and had fired on the former President from a position a couple of hundred feet away from the venue in Butler, [PA] citing anonymous law enforcement sources. The shooter was identified through his DNA, as he was not carrying any identification at the time, the FBI said.
Crooks, 20 years old, according to the government was a resident of Bethel Park, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh about 40 miles south of the Trump rally’s location in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Reuters reported that Crooks was a registered Republican according to state voter records, and that he had donated $15 to a left wing Democrat progressive group, The Progressive Turnout Project, in 2021, through the ActBlue Democrat donation platform. Interestingly, Crooks’ contribution to the leftist group was dated Jan. 20, 2021, the date of Biden’s inauguration, while he registered to vote as a Republican eight months later in September 2021.
Other information about Crooks online, of a more incendiary political and social nature, could not be confirmed at press time.
Crooks graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022. A two-hour-long official video on YouTube of the high school’s 2022 commencement shows Crooks accepting his diploma at this point in the video.
According to the Bethel Park Journal on June 22, 2022, Crooks was one of two dozen graduates of Bethel Park High School who received $500 for a National Math & Science Initiative Star Awards.

If we look at this as a suicide mission – he knew that he was going to be a martyr. . . So what makes him so radicalized that he wants to become this martyr and kill Donald Trump? In my mind, the constant drum beat of comparing Trump to somebody like Adolf Hitler, when Hitler was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people, would be something that would radicalize a young person. If any of us had the opportunity to go back to the 1930s and assassinate Adolf Hitler, we might do it.

Authorities also found explosive devices in Crooks’ vehicle that was parked near the rally on Saturday, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. This news was followed by an Associated Press report that bomb-making materials were also found at the suspect’s home.
Crooks had no previous criminal history, according to Pennsylvania’s public court records, The New York Times reported.
His background reveals a mixed political profile. Although registered as a Republican, federal campaign-finance records show he made a $15 donation to the Progressive Turnout Project through the Democratic donation platform ActBlue in January 2021, according to the Times.
One audience member interviewed by the BBC on Saturday said he and several others repeatedly told the Secret Service and police about seeing the shooter stationed on top of the roof of a building minutes before the suspect began shooting.
What is the emerging “disturbing picture” the article refers to? He was a good student, smiled a lot, was allegedly a registered Republican, and - in one photo - is seen wearing a patriotic t-shirt. He made a small contribution to a leftist group, and that’s about it.

The car, which was driven by [the shooter], was parked near the Trump rally in Butler, Pa., on Saturday, people said.
Police received multiple reports of suspicious packages around near where the shooter was, authorities said, prompting them to dispatch bomb technicians. Investigators were still working to make sure the scene was clear well into the night. They also searched [the shooter's] home and spoke with his family.
The Pentagon said on Sunday it had "confirmed with each of the military service branches that there is no military service affiliation for the suspect...in any branch, active or reserve component in their respective databases."
It was reported that the assassin didn’t have any ID on him.
How did they identify him in a couple of hours?
DNA results take some time.
At least that’s what they tell us.

That would mean he’s been in trouble before.
Did the government have DNA and fingerprints of this guy?

Of course knowing what hitler became and did this far in the future. But it is impossible to say what any here today without that knowledge and living in the 1930’s would have attempted in Weimar Germany. Hitler did have many attacks on his life— the last being the non-suicidal Prussian Von Staufenberg who could have, but didn’t stay to make sure his bomb was in the right place. July 20, 1944. End of the war very different, and possible the Soviets wouldn’t have gained as much as they did during the year that followed.
What we know from “In the Garden of the Beasts” by Larsen— we know much about FDR’s first ambassador to Nazi Germany (and the State Department jew haters who loved them some hitler. Them being dems and machine FDR people— good Socialists like they are today—no surprise).

The disturbing image unrevealed is how he decided to crawl up on a roof and take a shot at POTUS Trump. My guess is that a series of deceitful, maniacal, derange-riddled emails he received from dozens of political action committees resulting from his giving his email address to ActBlue set him off. But it’s just a guess.
He donated to the PAC when he was 17 so not legal. He registered Republican to try to stop Trump.
The internet scrubbing. Did it take place before or after the shooting?
If there were no eyes on him, how did they locate and shoot him so quickly? What was the vantage point of the sniper who shot him?

Yes, it was not lost on me he could have registered R as a tactical matter to vote against Trump in the primary.
My son’s theory is that he did not donate to ActBlue but instead his identity was used as part of a bundle.
