If there were no eyes on him, how did they locate and shoot him so quickly? What was the vantage point of the sniper who shot him?

What I don’t understand is how the shooter had line of sight to Trump. He was nowhere near the peak of the roof. How did he see over it?
before trump hit the ground we heard audible, “shooter is down” which means they had thier sites on him before he took his first shot and allowed it to happen.
