** The shooter was likely outside the venue ** The shooter was on the right side of Trump ** This was not a pistol used by the shooter ** Likely a 22 Long Rifle – likely semiautomatic ** The 22 Long Rifle is effective up to 200 yards ** It appears no one else was shot on the stage ** The audience was looking to their right after the shots were fired. ** Bullet was in a deceleration range

No way a 22 was used at 200 yards. A 22 magnum at 200 yards maybe, but the drop would be quite a bit and low impact force.

A sniper in position to shoot the attempted assassin within seconds I would think would be in position to see and shoot the assassin before the assassin could fire a shot.

Not making excuses for the SS, because they SHOULD have secured all elevated areas but once the shooting started, of course the SS snipers did and should have taken out the shooter.
Should they have waited for someone to find a ladder and then attempt to tackle him on the roof?
They did what they could do to stop the shooter!
The SS takes its orders from the Biden Administration. The area of the shooter’s location was reportedly outside of the SS’s determination for required observation. One has to wonder who set the security perimeter and why it stopped short of a rooftop within shooting range of the podium.
I take no issue with Biden’s response. It was reasonable.
I’ve seen other leftists use this for a call for strict gun control, the f***tards.
