It’s not a lack of decisiveness. It’s a lack of ability excite crowd, which is what we need in the next 3.5 months. I honor him as much as anyone here but he’s not exciting enough. Plus he’s too old

I see Carson as a nice guy, quiet, doesn’t rock the boat. There’s a role for that in Trump’s admin but as VP to fight to win the election, no. Wrong person.

FR could start a grassroots campaign to get Trump to nominate Lazamataz. Got my vote!

That was President Trump’s words. I meticulously transcribed them from the interview.

Piss off?? Don’t like anyone pointing out your white self-hatred? Or cowardice?

"Two key criteria: (1) Ready to serve and (2) helps win the election."
Lee Zeldin - nearly won governor of NY, and New York is technically "in play".

Gabbard or Lazamataz. Your choice!
Sorry, posted that in the wrong thread a moment ago.

Tulsi would certainly be the most interesting choice, and not the worst either.
Of the names continually being thrown around, Burgum is by far the very worst possible option. Rubio is next worst.

I do not believe Carson can be bought. I had some professional dealings with him many years ago, and know many people who still know him. He is one of the finest men I’ve ever met. He is a man of integrity, courage, intelligence, deep thought, compassion, and dedication. You will not find a better man in politics. I’m not saying he should be VP, or that he’s the most savvy man in politics. Just that he can’t be bought.

odawg, who is your choice or short list for Trump’s VP? How will they expand the base?

I hope it's someone who prioritizes deportation.
Some other issues are also important, but they take a back seat to deportation.

"The choice will be very very good, it's going to be a great vice president, I'm likely reading too much into this, but why would he mask the gender with the word/possessive of "it's"? As most in the running are men, does this subconsciously (or consciously) signal a female selection?

Trump doesn’t need a substantive running-mate to win.
But, it would help if he picked someone who could immediately succeed him as POTUS after his term is up!
To: 38special
Who’s your choice? And how do you think they help expand the base?
