War rooms, parts for UAV assembly, tactical drones, rockets, and machine guns were among the weapons and infrastructure located by the IDF.
During raids over the last week on a Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad combat complex embedded in a former UNRWA compound, troops of the Commando Brigade’s combat team, operating under the direction of the 99th Division, located significant terror infrastructure embedded in the facility.
Among the weapons and infrastructure located in the UNRWA complex were war rooms used for surveillance operations, parts for UAV assembly, tactical drones, rockets, machine guns, mortars, explosives, and grenades, the IDF added.
Terror infrastructure in a university
In other scans of the vicinity, during the army's ongoing operational activity in the area, soldiers reportedly discovered a subterranean weapons and explosives manufacturing facility inside a university building.
On Wednesday, the IDF reported that troops of the 99th Division had, after opening an evacuation route for civilians, engaged and killed terrorists operating on the Gaza City UNRWA headquarters premises in close-quarters combat.
Other terrorists were arrested by the Israeli personnel.
On Monday, the IDF first reported that the operation on the facility began the previous night and was jointly conducted by the 99th Division and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). At the time, the military had reported that it operated on intelligence, indicating the presence of terror infrastructure in the area.
Troops had previously located a terror tunnel running beneath the facility that had served as a major Hamas military intelligence asset, the IDF added.
I never, ever expected that.
Of course the left wing media and pro-Hamas people will say it was an IDF setup.
Israel AND THE UNITED STATES need to kick the UnitedNazis OUT completely.
In USA, it is just a big spy nest and staging area for anti-American propaganda (which the commies and IslamoNazi dictatorships can spew forth from home now that the internet exists)
Let’s toss the UnitedNazis out of USA. They can set up shop in Iran or Beijing for all I care
former UNRWA compound. How long ago did it become former? 1 year, 2 years, 3 days. The time frame matters.
Don’t know, probably a month or two. I believe this is the second operation in that area. UNWRA still operates in Gaza, so at some point they must have abandoned it. Given the arms found, probably a day or two at most since PIJ abandoned it. Hard to tell UNWRA from the terrorists.
Right out of the Babylon Bee.
it is very clear that the UNRWA needs to be declared a terrorist organization and anyone that financially supports it needs to have economic sanctions placed against it.
.......but, but it is part of the United Nations......Well, sorry but if it acts like a terrorist organization, sounds like a terrorist organization.......it is a terrorist organization. The UN better clean its house and fast.
This was UNRWA HQ and data center put out of action in February.
UN and UNRWA are the chief protector and armorer for the O7 butchers…💯
President Trump cut off US $ for the UNRWA.
FJB restored it.
Which basically explains the entire existing of self proclaimed palestines - to wreak havoc and kill Jews
Looks like the massacre of last October was a UN operation.
Hamas has as it’s “true” goal, the destruction of Israel; expulsion, destruction or subjugation of the Israeli people.
Hard to negotiate or come up with a lasting peace deal when one side takes such a position.
—People in the West have grown tired of this conflict.
—Demographics are changing in the Arab / Palestinian favor in the West both US and Europe. This impact the policy makers, elections.
—Other Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, are economically far more important to us than Israel, they lobby and have political influence.
The tide is turning for Israel in terms of our unwavering support.
But that does not make the Israeli cause any less legitimate.
It is ironic that while we talk about democracy, human rights, and sovereignty regards Ukraine as rationalization for our support, none of these really apply to this satellite state with a government that we installed and today is a de facto dictatorship. Yet Israel where these all do hold true, we are pressuring to make concessions which benefit our politicians here.
It is more than ironic, almost sickening to see what is a textbook propaganda campaign on the Palestinian side (these efforts started already in the 90s but today have become elaborate/complex and effective). The amateur hour as with Salam Daher is long over: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salam_Daher Meanwhile, we talk about Russian propaganda (which really means someone has no argument) in a world where we block ~40 Russian media outlets, all their government websites, and censor in social media. About the only way you’ll get the Russian perspective is to actively try to get around mass Western censorship.
And then there is that whole “unprovoked” nonsense our media doesn’t shut up about. Of course Ukraine was provoked: NATO East expansion. It was in Israel where Hamas not only attacked and killed 1,200 civilians, but then took hostages in an unprovoked attack as relations between the two sides were slowly improving. Russia is rational, yes, even this war in Ukraine is a predictable, rational reaction for what they perceive as a security issue we simply choose to ignore, NATO expansion on their doorstep. But with Hamas you’re not dealing with people that have shown themselves willing to truly negotiate. Under Rabin, Israel was literally willing to give the Palestinians almost everything they wanted, Rabin ended up assassinated for the concessions he was willing to make, and Arafat at the time still said “No.”
And finally you have the groups that wants to obfuscate the Israeli and Ukraine issue by somehow combining them. While it is true that the “enemy of your enemy is your friend,” and Russia today will exploit this situation for their advantage, they are entirely unique: different warring parties, in a different place, with different capabilities, end states, philosophies...
There is no doubt that Israel should be getting our support.
Israel is a nation.
Hamas is what? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas It’s a frigging terrorist organization we have legitimized. That’s it.
Wow, thanks for posting,
Yes!
