Former President Donald Trump’s plan to expand the universe of swing states is paying off. Left-wing panic is reportedly sinking in over New York’s increasingly competitive status, with one local Democrat official saying it has morphed into a “battleground state.”
Politico reported on the development in the long-blue Empire State on Wednesday in the wake of President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Trump on June 27:
Elected officials, union leaders and political consultants are panicking over polls showing a steady erosion of Biden’s support in a state he won by 23 points four years ago. They’re so worried they’ve been trying to convince the Biden team to pour resources into New York to shore up his campaign and boost Democrats running in a half-dozen swing districts that could determine control of the House.

The media is really dragging out the release of new polls after the debate disaster. They are trying to wait until the storm blows over but they’re done.
The Democrats will have to spend money in states where they usually don’t have to. And Biden has a $250M war chest. They need that money. Which means the Democrats need him. Which means they have to support the worst, most unelectable candidate in history. LOL!
Don’t count your chickens. Cheating and fanatical “one issue” voters, and a heavily biased MSM may win the day.
The propaganda has been somewhat successful with Trump. Lies, lies and more lies.
And now they are trotting out the Russian interference again.

Like California, it is a one-party, leftist-woke state, with a bloated woke government in thrall to NY City leftists. Like all good one-party governments, every action of government is to cement one-party via dependency, a vast gov’t control network, and aligned cronies.
NY State won’t change without an economic collapse or political revolution. Republicans may appear to win many local elections on election night, only to find they lost after all the absentee and mail-in votes arrive. This has been the obvious pattern, especially since Covid.
NY City doesn’t even count all its votes - since Covid in “uncompetitive” races, it merely counts “most” and extrapolates the results.

Two things. Joey will not be the candidate. The money will mostly end up with the new one.
The schedule is make dummy dig in his feet. Roll along for awhile and near the dem convention out goes bidet. Meanwhile Trump has no real target and gets to flail away. Trump gets nominated and that crook judge imprisons him. The October surprise. The dumb electorate figures bidet is gone; The GOP candidate is in jail so let’s go with all is forgiven for the dems because it was bidet who fooled them. Hitlery may get her wish as Harris is discredited as bidets cohort. Sadly the media ends up unscathed and rewrites history as having brought up the problem.

They plan to pocket much of it. Of course.
But there are some very smart, evil-smart, people in the Democrat and leftist party.

Why are they panicked? Because their crimes and corruption might be exposed? They’re march toward communism might be delayed for a bit?

I don’t think Dems are actually worried about NY state, maybe some down ballot NY House races, but Biden will carry NY.
What has Dems panicking are internal polls. The most reliable private firm that Dems use for polling recently showed Trump +7 in both MI and PA, and ahead in all other swing states. The MSNBC, Emerson, CNN etc polls are one thing, but the Dem internal polls are really bad and are the reason Dems in panic mode.
Trump is a New Yorker at heart, he should put some more time in the state to win it.
NY has endured four years of one party Demonic Demoncrat rule and most people are sick of it. The corruption, crime, arrogant political figures, idiotic spending on illegals and the failure to confine dangerous criminals is ‘PO ing millions who are stuck here. The legislative races are going to be very interesting this year.
Politically it’s a lifetime between now and Election Day.
Many things can and WILL change.
What looks good and reassuring now may not feel this way in two months.
I’m not trying to be a buzzkiller.
Over the decades, I’ve seen enough political races that have turned the wrong way on a dime.
