My wife and I were talking about a vacation this morning and I told her it needed to be somewhere within driving distance for just this reason.
She asked why.
I told her that Boeing was having a lot of problems with their aircraft.
With the way things are going it is only a matter of time before one of these things ends tragically
I can see why they turned around -- a pugilistic match broke out in the aisle.
Proud Mary
Big wheel keeps on turnin’
Proud Boeing keeps on burnin’
Rollin’
Rollin’
Rollin’ down the runway.🛬
They had to get Boeing in the headline because there aren’t enough shark attacks in Florida yet.
now we just have to worry about parts falling from the sky.
Did the tire land on the sand dunes or the beach ?
You found a fine time to leave me, loose wheel...
But let’s remember Boeing’s saying: When a door closes, another opens.
“...a wheel on the rear landing gear fell off the plane upon takeoff at LAX...”
A: How did they know? [AI reviews the video of all takeoffs now?]
B: Reviews of lug nut torques indicated DEI activity?
C: The tire failed in some fashion?
D: Other?
Is it now a rule to insert “Boeing” into every headline involving an aviation mishap?
I don’t feel sorry for Boeing, not by a long shot, but still.
This seems contrived.
Yeah, well, they're not the ones with an aircraft wheel and tire falling on their heads.
Between blown hatches, ejected emergency slide, and disconnected wheels, fatalities on the ground are likely to be the next fatalities caused by the Didn't Earn It (DEI) hires in the aircraft maintenance industry.

That tire must’ve taken a huge bounce all the way to Dockweiler State Beach, oh man..
I’m m with you. There is nothing that could induce me to fly commercial at this point.
Things Falling Off of Aircraft Report time !!
Seems to be some maintenance issues. This isn’t Boeings fault.
What does this stupid “wheel” stuff have to do with skin color?
Tires falling off the Boeing planes could be gathered to make a theme park in Allen Park, Michigan. The former World’s Fair ferris wheel was made into a huge tire ad off I-94.
Still there.
DEI vs Sabotage, or is it both? Enquiring minds want to know.
“Hello, Boeing Airlines? I found that lost wheel that was in the news last week. I thought maybe it was a meteor. It destroyed my chicken coop. Now most of the hens are too scared to lay eggs. Do I get a reward for finding your vwheel? I’d settle for being reimbursed for cost of the coop.”
I hear 'ya. Spent 20 years flying 10 - 20 times a year. Mainly Delta domestically, but others for overseas.
Never had any glaring maintenance issues back then.
