Looks like they need another revolution. I really don’t care if the French continue to screw up France. Not my concern. I’m pretty sure the leftists are at least going to pull the plug on the insanely reckless idea of sending regular French troops to Ukraine. Helping to drag us into WWIII is a concern of mine.

Is, “ruff shot” supposed to be, “roughshod?” A newspaper from England does not appear to be in English.

European leftists do love their riots. Riot if they win, riot if they lose.... Elections, soccer games, loose change, anything.

They’re rioting because they got bupkis. They got the most seats, but are well short of a majority. Macron’s center right and the right have almost 60% of the seats.

https://apnews.com/live/france-election-results-updates-round-2-macron-le-pen
[Here’s a look at the final results from the second round. According to the Interior Ministry, the leftist coalition has taken the most seats in parliament, with at least 181. Macron’s centrists have more than 160 seats. Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally have 143 seats after leading in the first round.]

It’s a victory without the power to make policy.

This should be interesting being three weeks prior to the Olympics. Do you think they’ll be birding down Paris during the Olympics. I can’t see how the Olympic committee will want to put people at risk. But then again it’s about the money.

That’s the great thing about the leftists...if they lose,
They riot...if they win,
They riot... it’s not about
The issue... it’s about the
Violence!!!

I think the rioting was a warning to the people to not vote for the right. The people voted for the left out of fear of what would happen if the right won.

Reminds me of the Rodney King riots. There were some well-organized gangs that planned to riot no matter the trial verdict. I also remember some Korean shop owners who stood outside their businesses with shotguns. Most criminals are cowards, and they did not attempt to rob and destroy the shops openly protected with firearms.

They were already ready for a protest, so they said “what the hell?”.

Misleading headline. Melenchon’s far left has not ‘won’. They simply have a few more seats than any other group in a hung parliament, with no group having a majority.

It’s like watching the news reports of riots after the NBA championship with the sound off and trying to guess who won.

Are the French revolting? Yes they are.

What can you do with a spoiled Elite, Upper Class, Educated Socialist society who constantly cry and whine (wine) that their rights, privileges and freedoms are being taken away from them, poor diddums.

A life of Socialism accustoms one to constantly receive and be entitled to receive more and more.

These people rioted when they wanted to raise the retirement age by one year!

Now they are rioting for the fun of it and destruction. Just wait until the Muslims reach a population parity. Then, Paris will burn and the Left will wake up to be subjugated by the Muslims.

A win because they got the most seats.

A loss because still not a controlling majority.

Anything short of total control is a loss to them.
