Misleading headline. Melenchon’s far left has not ‘won’. They simply have a few more seats than any other group in a hung parliament, with no group having a majority.
... also Mélenchon doesn’t rule the NFP. He and the commies have 83 seats out of the 182 NFP seats. The whole parliament has 577 seats in total.
