Nashville Shooter Audrey Hale's Writings Can't Be Released, Judge Rules
Newsweek ^ | 07 05 2024 | Mandy Taheri

A Nashville, Tennessee, judge ruled on Thursday night that shooter Audrey Hale's writings cannot be released to the public in a move supported by the victims' families.

On March 27, 2023, Hale entered Nashville's private The Covenant School with three firearms and shot and killed six people. The victims were three 9-year-old students and three adults. The 28-year-old Hale, who was identified by police as transgender and was once a former student at the school, was fatally shot by Metro Nashville Police Department officers.

Just before midnight on Thursday, Judge I'Ashea Myles ruled that "the original writings, journals, art, photos and videos created by Hale are subject to an exception" to the Tennessee Public Records Act, and that The Covenant School children and parents hold the copyright to Hale's writings.

The judge called Hale's reliance on similar past shootings as "a blueprint" for the attack to be "of grave concern" and noted "that the contagion and risk of copycat behavior to be real, present and credible."

Myles said "Hale used the writings of other perpetrators in similar crimes to guide how this plan was constructed and accomplished, mimicking some not only in their methodology, but also choice of weapons and targets."

How is it that the children and parents hold the copyright to Hale’s writings? Are there any legal documents that said Hale transferred the copyright?

The judge called Hale's reliance on similar past shootings as "a blueprint" for the attack to be "of grave concern" and noted "that the contagion and risk of copycat behavior to be real, present and credible."

That is a reason with which I can agree. It is the reason that the authorities should have plainly stated in the immediate aftermath of the incident. It has been known for well over 70 years that detailed reporting of suicides inspires copycat attempts.

Everything else they said made it look like they were concealing something else they did not want the public to know. Which I am certain was exactly the situation.

(1) Transgenders are mentally ill, and they are dangerous to others. In particular, the female-to-male transgenders are prone to violence directed at other people. They cannot handle the effects of the testosterone supplements they take to pretend to be males. There is an entire political narrative that collapses when a sufficient number of people understand this.

(2) These mass shooters get encouragement and assistance from organizations which allows these incidents to occur. Does anybody remember the scheduled "Transgender Day of Rage" that was planned just a few days later than this mass-murder incident. Who were those people? They got very quiet after one of their wind-up toys went off too early.

(3) Government agents and informants provide encouragement and assistance to these mentally ill people. I note that the Nashville shooter bought her weapons and training sessions with the proceeds of her Pell grant money. What else did she get from the government?

Was she "known to the FBI"? How much did they know and when did they know it? I would expect that somewhere in her scribblings, the shooter identifies some people and organizations that encouraged her murderous project. Or possibly assisted her with it.

Ruling on the 4th, so they could try to hide it.

If the shooter were a straight White man and suspected of being a racist, sexist or homophobe, they would have released everything in a heartbeat.

The judge needs to be thrown off the bench. That’s not how copyrights work.

Then don’t release the how-to’s, just release the motivations. Copycats are definitely something to consider, but we need to know what to look for in the behavior, not in the planning/execution of a crime.

Maybe the bigger problem is the socalled news mediums infatuation with any event that gives them a slap at so called “ gun violence” of which there is no such thing.
If they want to stop the crime make it obscure and the punishment extreme that will sober up some of these tender rosebuds.
PS so called or was it socialist,

Something tells me that withholding the information isn’t just about keeping a ‘blueprint’ away from someone who may plan and commit similar actions.

It’s very likely to prevent the public from knowing the EXTERNAL and UNDUE influences troubled people like this person go through. On line grooming, instruction, hate, dissatisfaction and a host of other subversion techniques used on these young emotionally/psychologically vulnerable youths.

So, then...

Federal Judge Aleta Trauger of the Middle District of Tennessee orders the fbi to release the ‘writings’ (aka ‘manifesto’) to the Tennessee Star...

...and Tennessee state Judge I’Ashea L. Myles overrules a federal judge ruling - essentially - that releasing the manifesto would create copycat events.

Apparently I awoke in Idiocracy once again.

DEI must DIE.
