White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday remembered to blame President Joe Biden’s panic-inducing debate performance on jet lag, apologizing for failing to mention it previously.
“You did get numerous questions yesterday about the President’s debate performance. You didn’t mention travel, the jet lag, the foreign trip. So I think you can understand why it was a little bit puzzling to hear the president mentioning that as his explanation for the first time last night,” a reporter told Jean-Pierre, who said she was aware of that excuse as well.
“That is my bad,” Jean-Pierre responded. “That is part of, that is part of — definitely part of the explanation of what had occurred. I did know that. I did know that.”

The longer this drags out, the worse it will be for Democrats. The Presidency is already going to Trump, and the House and the Senate are going Republican. What they need to hope is that the American people will forgive them for propping up and abusing a dementia patient. This is seriously f*cked!

For years, I’ve worked shift work (Just retired this Monday!).
After a few 12 hour night shifts, It did take me a day or so to get back to “Normal”. But man, didn’t Biden have at least a week to recover? Just another example of how frail he really is, if true. But that is a big “IF”.
I watched the post-debate Waffle House video where he’s cavalierly shaking hands with “the little ppl” while knowing full well he “had a cold.” More proof he doesn’t care for us peons at all.
Congrats on your retirement. I worked overnight shifts for the last 10 yrs of my employment and I still prefer the nighttime hours. Kinda sucks though because the world is set up to be more productive in the daytime.

I for some reason was reminded of Adlai Stevenson who said later he felt humiliation in 1961 over being handed a CIA false cover story to read at the UN Security Council that the US had no knowledge or military support for the Bay of Pigs invasion at the United Nations Security Council on behalf of his bosses. Thanks. Yes, there are some guys that I worked with that did prefer working nights, but I never did get used to it. A lot of them were sportsmen who liked to hunt or fish during the day, maybe do some chores around the house, get maybe four hours of sleep, then back to work again. I do respect their energy!
