Embattled former Mayor Rudy Giuliani – a former prosecutor known for his work in taking down the mob in the Big Apple – can no longer practice law in New York, an appeals court ruled Tuesday.
“Rudolph William Giuliani, is disbarred from the practice of law, effective immediately, and until the further order of this Court, and his name stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law in the State of New York,” the First Department appeals court wrote in a decision released Tuesday.
Giuliani – once known as America’s Mayor for his response to the 9/11 terror attacks – was admitted to the Empire State’s bar in 1969 but has been stripped of his long-time profession following two criminal indictments for allegedly interfering in the 2020 presidential election.

If Trump ever cleans up the DOJ then maybe he can go after the NY courts and judges. Legally and justly that is. They have committed so many illegal acts, and the constitution gives the federal government the duty to ensure a uniform system of justice.

Didn’t they go after the NYC Police Commissioner some years ago? Nobody was able or willing to get it reversed, the dems have been doing lawfare for years.

NYC deserves the misery it is going through. They never had a better prosecutor or mayor and look how NYC is treating him. Disgusting.
Disbarment doesn’t require a criminal conviction. It only requires that you engage in practice in any manner that tends to undermine confidence in the law, courts, and peaceful administration of justice. It’s the same in every state.

Similar to a Republican congress expelling George Santos (R-NY) even though he had not been convicted of any crime.
The left can commit crimes and not receive any punishment or accountability while the Right is prosecuted and put in federal prison for misdemeanors. For example, compare Antifa’s punishment versus the J6 protesters.
The Right better get their act together because the Left is absolutely destroying them.
He is already 80 years old. I have great respect for him; but the fine details of the law require long, exhausting days. I hope for a miracle for him regarding this case and the lawfare waged against him; but I also hope he has a few years of relative peace. He has earned it.

Thanks for the info. It seems wrong that they can disbar you for questioning an election, and trying to find proof that it was stolen. RATS run the State and the Legislature. I'm sure they run the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court too.
