Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Monday she will be filing articles of impeachment against the conservative justices after they ruled on Donald Trump's immunity case.
Supreme Court Justices are appointed for life unless they choose to step down or are impeached - and the last and only time a justice was impeached was in 1805.
'The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control,' AOC posted on X. 'Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy.'

Yeah, good luck getting 17 Republicans in the Senate on board for a 2/3rds vote for removal AOC. Heck, I doubt even the biggest RINO in the place would give it more than a laugh. But then again, just like with Trump’s impeachment, it was never about actually removing him, it was all just kabuki theater to keep the rank and file sending in those donations.

Impeachment is a resume enhancement for a Federal Judge, at least if the Federal Judge is a stone cold Leftist. Alcee Hastings was a Federal Judge, and was impeached and removed for charges of bribery and perjury. Instead of fading into obscurity, former Judge Hastings used his notoriety to run for the House of Representatives, as a DemocRAT of course. The democRATS welcomed him with open wallets.
I like her thinking. She should do more of it.

Obama had American citizens killed without due process. There was no trial or conviction. Maybe we should start there. It sounds much more serious than pledged campaign finance violations. Do Obama first then we can talk.
