We wish. Erik Prince was interviewed on RAV last week and this was discussed. He said it can’t happen due to some kind of conflicts with SS. As a private citizen, PDJT should be able to kick SS to the curb. As an official candidate, maybe he can’t.
So SS, FBI, etc., who despise Trump, have total control over his safety. On what planet does that make any sense?
Well that’s not good. I think I’d find a workaround for that nonsense. Somehow. I guess a clear bullet proof surround while he’s speaking would work, but I doubt very much it’s a look he’d like.
Glad she’s back safely. She’s much braver than me, that’s for sure. There’s no way I’d venture on a trip more than about 10 miles at my age, alone. As a passenger, I’d be great lol. Just so long as there were sufficient rest room stops!
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I would not mind bullet-proof glass AND his own dang security team.
Off topic: I think the various streaming services have conspired together so that each one provides only part of what we wish to watch. That way we are compelled to subscribe to more than one or even all. And most of what is provided is just garbage.
In my opinion, indoor rallies pose more opportunities for threats than outdoor ones do.

Agree. Attendees would be crammed into a enclosed location forced to funnel out through relatively few exit doors. Besides getting Trump, his supporters would be like fish in a barrel. At least if outside, people could disperse more easily away from the threat.

I tend to think that the indoor rallies have a definite perimeter, and if the only accesses to the inside are very strictly and thoroughly searched (metal detectors, keeping out anyone questionable, even pat-downs, dogs, etc.) it’s pretty tough to get a gun in there. Also, inside, surrounded by the crowd, you’d hardly get a chance to set up a shot.
Having said that, I can see more hazard for attendees if someone was to do something. I can see the stampede, however, going toward the gunman to “neutralize” him forever. Different kind of crowd.

The catwalks, HVAC systems and roof support systems(painted black) provide multiple places for snipers to set up in low light conditions.

IMO he can have outside rallies but he should be in a secure building and being shown on a massive screen/screens. I have noticed that most people are looking at the screen anyway.
