Team Biden Threatens to Keep Cash if He’s Replaced
Front Page Mag ^ | 6/30/24 | Daniel Greenfield

The bedwetting brigade is calling for Joe Biden to “drop out.” That is the best possible way for Donald Trump to win and us to lose.

First of all: Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, period. End of story. Voters voted. He won overwhelmingly. And if he were to drop out, it would lead to weeks of chaos, internal foodfighting, and a bunch of candidates who limp into a brutal floor fight at the convention, all while Donald Trump has time to speak to American voters uncontested. All of that would be in service of a nominee who would go into a general election in the weakest possible position with zero dollars in their bank account. You want a highway to losing? It’s that.

Hmmm I thought I heard only Harris could use the money if Biden did leave the stage anyway?

I think I know the exit strategy for Biden. Let me start with what we know:

1. He is senile and getting more senile with every day
2. He is under the influence and control of Dr. Jill
3. The whole Biden family is a bunch of grifters
4. The Democratic party is desperate to have him quit to avoid a nasty succession fight so as to better their chances in the 2024 elections

So given that, its simply a matter of negotiating the severance package. How much money for the Library that they can skim off. Immunity from prosecution not just for Joe but for other family members. Lucrative Board/foundation/jobs for them and their kids, cash in pocket (will a $100 million make you happy Jill?), insider stock picks, foreign money cycled back to them (I’m looking at you Ukraine), etc, etc.

Simply a business transaction at this point.

John Kerry did the same when he lost. Kept 500 million in campaign money for years.

The Dem string pullers definitely intend to avoid this. But Joe "stepping down" right now is not the only way. Perhaps he will be nominated but die before the election?

Looks to me like Judge Merchant has other plans for Donald Trump.

He can't, because the donations raised do not go to Biden but to the DNC to be used for all elections the Democrats are involved in.

So, it's an idle threat.

This isn’t hard. We want to run against Joe.

Joe is the greatest, poorest, pure, wise leader we all need in the Election.

Long live Joe Biden!

I don’t contribute to the GOP. I contribute to individual candidates. Don’t know if pedojoe has his own campaign cash vs that which goes to the DNC.

Look for a move to replace Joe with Jill. You can tell she loves the power, prestige and the money.

What Happens To Biden—Or Trump’s—Campaign Cash If They Drop Out?

Forbes

Sara Dorn
May 1, 2024

Excerpt - more at link
~~~~~~~~
If a presidential candidate dropped out of the race, they would first need to repay all of their campaign vendors, and if the campaign ended before their parties’ respective conventions, where they officially select a nominee, they would have to refund all contributions designated to be used in the general election, elections lawyer Brett Kappel told Forbes.
After that, Biden or Trump could try to use any leftover money to support their party’s new candidate—but campaign finance laws only allow them to transfer $2,000 directly to another federal campaign, so the vast majority of their eight-figure war chests would need to be given to other groups like political parties or PACs, a complicated process.
The funds could seamlessly be transferred, without limits, to national, state or local party committees, such as the Democratic or Republican National Committees, which could use the money to support a replacement nominee or other Democratic candidates in federal down-ballot races—a scenario that would make the party largely responsible for funding a candidate’s presidential run, representing a break from most modern campaigns.
“Simply a business transaction at this point.”
I’m not so sure. Clearly, the grifting Bidens are motivated by cash. They also believe they are great, talented people entitled to great things. Look how they talk. “I give my word as a Biden”. Who talks like that, except delusional elitists? Dropping out means admitting failure. Getting God’s Gift to America to admit he’s failed and drop out?
It’s going to have to be a lot of money.
