How I contribute to campaigns is logical.
I do not contribute to candidates even though they are of my political leanings if the do not have a chance of winning. I do not contribute to candidates that are of my political beliefs if they are sure to win. I give the money to those that need it and may win.
I contribute to candidates that are of my political beliefs if they are in a close election be they in my state or not. I wait until about a month before the election and I am generous.
