Its a fake debate. Why agree to such a manipulated travesty and effectively legitimize it? Makes no sense.

Trump should make a public statement to the effect that “CNN broke their agreement and it puts me at a great disadvantage. Therefore I will not be participating.”

It’s not a debate.
Debates are when two or more parties make points back and forth to each other. It’s a dialogue. A discourse.
This crapshow that CNN is doing is a question and answer session. It’s a framed interview with two interviewees instead of one
He probably thinks it’s good to get out there and be seen and heard, even when it’s all loaded against him.
They keep doing their worst to him, and he just keeps getting up and keeping his eye on the prize.
If Trump made a public statement and spelled out why he won’t participate in such a farce, it would only increase his support.
trump should put a digital stopwatch on his podium to show the edits.
He can inquire about it at the debate.
I WILL BET $$$$$ THAT TRUMP DID NOT AGREE TO THIS.
Maybe this "theory" is not so ridiculous after all.
Among the list of plausible reasons...
- Trump wants to do it because he wants to show he can beat them on their own terms and that he has no fear. He knows they will say he is afraid to debate if he holds out.
- Sheer vengeance and competitiveness.
- Maybe he’s hoping CNN overplays their hand. That would help him.
I believe Trump will beat Biden to a pulp.
