I hear ya but not holding my breath. Already written off CNN.
If it turns out that Trump underestimated the Left’s obsession with bringing him down its all over for the country. We cannot stand four more years of this abuse. You’d think that after all they’ve done to him he would be a lot more cautious in his dealings with them. For whatever reasons he doesn’t seem to grasp the enormity of the threat.
Never knowingly agree to a bad deal.
I don’t know how ‘simulcast’ works; but the word suggests to me that they’ll get what CNN broadcasts.

I doubt Trump ‘underestimates’ much, at this point.
I'm voted for DeSantis in the primary. If he was running right now, he'll be up by 10 in the national polls. He'll get more votes from the independents and female voters.
All right everybody, read the thread before responding to me. I’ve gotten like 10 replies on this about there being no audience.
CNN doesn’t want an audience because they don’t want any inconvenient witnesses.
If you get somebody’s else’s feed they could have delayed it before it got to you.
They also announced media will not be allowed in the room and must watch it across the street from a “live” feed. Media has protested.
“There will be NO audience per the rules.”

The rules, such as they are, guarantee there will be NO fairness. Trump will be debating three people, all of whom bitterly despise him. Why agree to such a lopsided travesty that only serves to legitimize it?
I don’t know; but see post 143. It looks like we’ll get just what CNN chooses to broadcast.

I totally agree, backing out now would be an utter disaster. Right now they’re playing a game of chicken and they want Trump to swerve first.
For a presidential debate? A president doesn’t get a two minute delay in real life.
So they can throw the whole thing in favor of Biden?
I don’t think we have one now who can even answer the ‘3 AM Phone Call’.
