Dr. Anthony Fauci Finally Reverses Course, Agrees Keeping Schools Closed During COVID Was ‘Mistake’

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to two presidential administrations during the COVID-19 pandemic, reversed course in a Tuesday interview and agreed that shutting down schools for more than a year due to the virus was a “mistake” — while also arguing the initial decision to close classrooms was correct.

“Keeping it for a year was not a good idea,” the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) told “CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil while talking about his new memoir “On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service.”

“So, that was a mistake in retrospect?” Dokoupil asked. “We will not repeat it?” “Absolutely, yeah,” Fauci responded.

I thought last year he claimed he was not behind the lockdown and school shutdowns?

For a man who claims to be the embodiment of science, what has he done to science? How many scientists will there be in a generation that is less than 20% proficient in math and science because of the lockdown?

“Keeping it for a year was not a good idea,”

Ya think?

My kid was returning to her university after Christmas break during that time shortly after schools were starting to open up. Because she left campus, she was required to sequester herself in this old hotel building that the university owned pending a clear covid test that took a few days.

The so-called "adults" would drop bagged meals outside of their hotel door but the kids were not allowed to leave or come into contact with another human being for several days.

My daughter said she could literally hear other kids sobbing through the walls. Some would talk to each other from different balconies.

They did so much damage to kids of all ages. It's beyond calculable. I will be hard pressed to ever trust anybody in the medical professions ever again.

He said in that interview that science means changing theory and action as new information comes in.

He suppressed data, alternate theories and scientists who expressed those theories.

His book title and cover portrait are some of the finest autohagriography ever seen.

Some of us never sent our kids to school. They skipped all 12 grades and went to college at 18 (or younger).

Why did the school kids fall behind so quickly after a short period of time? Why couldn’t they ever catch up?

Schools close down all the time when sickness is abound. It’s called common sense. Except the flu was not prevalent in the schools.

He uses language that can be interpreted different ways. Hides behind faux science. Uses committees and panels to distribute responsibility. Uses secrecy to hide derogatory information and avoid public scrutiny. Now he’s gone / moved on and won’t be held accountable.

He’s a classic government bureaucrat. The type which belongs in the movies as a weasel / slime ball.

But one thing is for sure, he did NOT act in the public and national best interest. His decisions were guided by something other than where science was pointing.

Making the rounds. Interesting that his wife, Christine Grady, works at NIH. Maybe that will be in his book.

Nobody cares about the schools. Besides the kids can heal from that quickly.

What he needs to hang from a telephone pole for is for TREASON with the Chinese, paying for the creation of a killer BIOWEAPON virus in Wuhan, growing the virus, and DEPLOYING it in China and worldwide, resulting in the deaths and maiming of hundreds of millions of people.

His trial and execution are eagerly anticipated by a billion people.
