I recently learned that May 10th is Confederate Memorial Day in SC. It just so happens that I went to the DMV and it was closed. State workers have the day off. I was not upset.
Is today not the day that we celebrate the execution of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg?
Yup. I could get behind Fry A Commie Day.
White people having a paid day off on Juneteenth is not only the antithesis of the entire day, it represents a sinister cycle of America reluctantly giving Black Americans what we are owed, and only if white America can benefit from it.
Let’s give blacks a special paid day off. Then everyone else (all other races) will hate them even more.

I seem to recall one year they combined Juneteenth with Confederate Heroes day but that can’t be right, wrong time of the year. Must of been MLK’s birthday and Confederate Heroes Day.
Actually, its 30 days, that includes the month of February.
I’m fine with this being a holiday—in Texas.
