In print newspaper days they called in “the silly season” when serious stories were few in the late summer and stories of tabloid style Bigfoot, UFOs and ghost visits took up space in the papers.
The “silly season” term was said to have entered the language with an 1861 description of the time “when Parliament and the Law Courts are not sitting”.

That may be your opinion, likely based on people your know-but I don’t know any women-includes me-who believe that climate change BS-and only a few young children of neighbors who do-and they had a public school education-most kids here are home/private schooled and smarter than that. This is a rural area, so we pay more attention to the weather out of necessity than just walking outside now and then. Where do you live?Dumbass does not play well with any sensible woman or man...
