Former President Barack Obama despairs at the state of political discourse in 2024, telling some 80 digital content creators we live in a “cynical time” and he finds solace in watching sports instead.

The Hill reports Obama made his revelation at a glittering Biden campaign fundraiser with the president on Saturday in Los Angeles, telling a select group of TikTok and Instagram creators he understands the challenge “influencers” face avoiding politics in their work.

“We live in a cynical time,” Obama said. “Let’s face it: I think a lot of the people who watch you, listen to you, who are fans of you — a lot of times they feel turned off by the political discourse.”

The rainbow President. The war on police President. The war on law and order President. The cancel culture President. Conducting total war on your political opponents misusing every lever of government power, intelligence agencies, the courts etc.

Now he’s graduated to jailing his political opponents and government sponsored censorship against our own citizens. And he thinks it’s gotten cynical out there,huh? Well he should know he’s the reason for it.

Obama was never that interested or engaged in details anyway.

His early life and early adulthood was that of a laid-back, Hawaiian, choom-gang, pot-smoking slacker, who bounced around universities until he was somehow discovered and groomed, smoothly passing-up through various milestones of American elite life.

He was oddly never really responsible for anything, until he was elevated to President, where one could argue he was still not really responsible for anything, as a cipher for the deep-state and permanent woke Fed.gov bureaucracy.
