A galaxy of political and entertainment stars (of various wattage) arrived Saturday night at L.A. Live’s Peacock Theater for a gala fundraiser for President Biden’s reelection campaign.
Here’s a rundown of some of those who attended the event, which is expected to raise at least $28 million:

It seems a few “influencers” were missing………like Oprah, Beyoncé, Tom Hanks, Spielberg, the Markles, DiCaprio, etc.
I had to look some of these slugs up. How many here know who Bryan Lourd and Richard Lovett are? It turns out they are uber powerful talent agent people. Katzenburg is a powerful producer and him I’d heard of before. Kathryn Hahn and Sheryl Lee Ralph are hardly A listers. The LA slimes goes on to list a bunch of dim congress critters presumably from the LA area. Lameness in abundance.
Born in Ottawa but that’s about it. Has spent his entire life after he broke through in the late 1950s in the US.
Oh my, I hope not. He died in 1968. But then again ...
What this really tells me is, 1) Hollywood is absolutely dying and, 2) the reality is that it’s not a very impressive pull for Biden.
It appears most of these people are at least in their 60s, 70s or beyond. All the usual suspects of the declining Hollywood empire.
Can’t wait for AI to replace actors.
