President Joe Biden arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday morning, touching down at LAX as the sun rose, later to be surrounded by stars.
Wearing a black baseball cap bearing the presidential seal, sneakers and a dark blazer with no tie, Biden hustled down Air Force One’s ramp and into his motorcade as dawn broke. Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, accompanied him.
With former President Barack Obama rolling in to help buoy the glitzy fund-raiser, Biden was scheduled to share a Downtown L.A. stage with Jimmy Kimmel, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, a big-money Hollywood-style event aiming to reel millions for the president’s re-election campaign. The fund-raiser has already reeled in more than $28 million, making it the biggest fundraiser in Democratic Party history, according to a statement from party officials early Saturday.
That figure overtakes the $26 million Democrats brought in from a fund-raiser in March in New York featuring talk-show host Stephen Colbert moderating a talk between Biden, Obama and former President Bill Clinton.
Pool reports said the president’s motorcade took an an uneventful early-morning ride of some 20 minutes through a largely deserted City of the Angels — perhaps the last traffic-free ride of the weekend. The reports did not mention any high-profile folks joining the president on the ride, just an array of about a dozen staff members.
Biden soared into the Southland from the G7 meetings in Italy.
A White House official said the president did not attend the G7 closing dinner, and only stayed for the entertainment by Andrea Bocelli, because the summit’s schedule was running late. Biden had to leave to be back in U.S. airspace in time for Vice President Kamala Harris to depart for the Ukraine peace conference in Switzerland, the official said.

And if this is not pre-recorded and edited with 80 cuts in ten minutes, Biden will be seen blankly saying “Huh?” “What’s that?” “I seem to have forgotten the question.” “I’m glad you’re still the President, Barack.” and “I’m usually in bed asleep this late.”
Joe is great for multi-millionaires who love telling paycheck to paycheck guys how great things are.
This is so sad. When Trump does a rally that draws in 10 of thousands of people the only real performer is Trump. The democrats have to go the extent of having a rock fest in order to get people to show up.
