In Oakland, California, a startling incident unfolded as a 77-year-old homeowner found himself at the center of a controversial arrest after fatally shooting a robbery suspect. The homeowner, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody under suspicion of murder following the tragic event that transpired at 98th Avenue and Burr Street in East Oakland on Monday evening.
Reports indicate that the homeowner encountered a harrowing situation when two men and a woman arrived at his property in a stolen Infiniti Q40. Eyewitnesses recall observing the trio trespass onto the premises, with one of the men wielding a crowbar. The peaceful tranquility of the neighborhood was shattered by the sound of a gunshot, signaling the onset of a series of alarming events
Responding swiftly to the distress call, law enforcement authorities arrived on the scene to find the homeowner brandishing a stolen Colt Python revolver at the female suspect. The fatal outcome of the encounter left one of the male suspects fatally wounded, despite the efforts of Oakland firefighters and paramedics to save his life. As the investigation progresses, the deceased suspect’s identity remains undisclosed.
In a twist of fate, the apprehension of the third suspect on the scene, in possession of a replica gun, shed light on the gravity of the situation. While the homeowner was taken into custody following the incident, formal charges are pending as prosecutors from the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office (Team Soros?) review the case.
Don’t bring a crowbar to a gunfight.
Stolen Colt Python. Pretty nice piece. I had one of those that I inherited from my dad. I kept the S&W 686 with the trigger job. I like the stainless but I still should have kept the Python.
Did the homeowner take the revolver from the thieves?
No homeowner should be in this situation. Stepping onto this man’s property with a weapon is more than enough justification for self defense. Given this man’s age, even more so.
The lesson here is if it does happen, DO NOT CALL THE COPS.
You have a back-yard garden and shovel. Your tomatoes could use the fertilizer.
Or a replica gun......
Anarcho-tyranny.
Resist a home invasion by the “vibrant and diverse”, and you are the one to be arrested.
The Elite like this situation, mostly because they can have security to protect them.
And the people they rule over can’t even protect themselves from the underclass that has been given a legal examption.
Classic High-Low against the Middle structure of Elite rule.
Doesn’t look like it........
when we first moved “out of town...a bit”, our new neighbors told us that the three most important things we’ll need to protect from adverse incidents would be a reliable firearm, a backhoe and a LOT of praying we never need the first two. good so far.
vs a 77 yr old.
crow bar = deadly weapon = not guilty
replica gun = perceived deadly weapon = not guilty
3 youth vs 77 = outnumbered perceived as deadly threat = not guilty
colt python = if bought from friend neighbor or pawn shop, background not known to purchaser. = not guilty
once you are over 55, for most people , 3 youth vs you are a can’t flee, and can’t win a fight. that is why you have a colt python. = not guilty
Three against one, you deserve all they unload on you.
My neighbors would notice. Then they would blackmail me non-stop for free tomatoes.
It’s all part of the Democrats push for gun control. If you legally use deadly force to protect yourself you will then have to serve the time the perp you killed would have served. Ditch the gun and give the perp whatever he wants and the government will then not charge you.
That thar is funny.
“Your tomatoes could use the fertilizer”
Does this change the taste of the tomatoes 🍅, asking
for a friend.
“Responding swiftly to the distress call, law enforcement authorities arrived on the scene to find the homeowner brandishing a stolen Colt Python revolver”
If you’re going to steal a revolver, steal the best.
More lawyers all back by government professional politicians
Like the add says - “Call 811 !”
you mean 911?
“NO, 811 - I need to know where I can dig the holes!”
