I've been asked to chime in, so I'm chiming. But you're not gonna like it. The state of discourse on FR is totally up to you. You know the guidelines and rules. I don't need to repeat them again and again and again. We are mostly adults here and mostly Christian conservatives. We all know how to behave in a mixed public setting. We don't need and don't want to be supervised.

Before you post that next profane post or personal attack just ask yourself, what would Jesus do.

Can't we all just get along?

Yes, they needed to be told they were snakes in the grass, whited sepulchres full of dead men’s bones, fools, etc. And they thanked him and felt oh so blessed.

Being blessed is not about FEELING blessed any more than love is about the feeling.

It's about the action of being given something good for you.

Likewise, sometimes showing love in action needs to be *tough love*, drawing lines and setting boundaries. It's not giving them what they want no matter how destructive it ends up being for them.

I LOVE FR and have learned to NOT take the bait if someone disagrees with me. It’s VERY satisfying to IGNORE someone. And it REALLY irritates them. :) *Halo Slipping*

In the long run, what does it matter? In our household we say: ‘I’m right, and you’re NOT so right!’ And that goes BOTH ways depending upon the topic. :)
