The Biden administration has called for Israel and Hamas to engage in negotiations and ceasefire talks after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) rescued four hostages.
White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan released a statement addressing the news that the IDF, Israel Security Agency (ISA), and the Israeli police had conducted a joint operation rescuing four hostages, who had been taken by Hamas on October 7, 2023, from the Supernova Music Festival.
Sullivan noted in his statement that the United States government was “supporting all efforts to secure the release” of the remaining hostages held by Hamas, and went on to encourage efforts such as conducting “ongoing negotiations” and pointed to a “hostage release and ceasefire deal” that he said “has the full backing of the United States.”

Whatever Israel is doing, approaches ever closer to a resolution in the conflict with the Hamas insurgents. Therefore, Joe Biden, or at least his handlers, in something of a panic, calls for a “ceasefire”, but Hamas has already announced that no ceasefire is acceptable if they have to “lay down their arms”. Now that is the very definition of a ceasefire, so it is absolutely certain that Hamas is not the least bit sincere.
Struggle to the last man (or woman), never give up, never give in, never surrender, no compromises.
If those are the rules of engagement, then so be it. Only one outcome is possible, and annihilation of one side or the other has to happen.
At the moment, Israel has the overwhelming advantage, and the Joe Stolen/”Que mala” Harris regime cannot seem to countenance that likelihood.
