BREAKING: NY Judge Merchan Informs Lawyers of ‘My Cousin is a Juror, Trump is Getting Convicted’ Facebook Post Left on NY Court Page, Pre-Verdict.
In a new development in Trump’s Manhattan “hush money” case, Justice Merchan has communicated to the involved parties about an incident involving a comment left on the court system’s Facebook page. The comment, left on May 29, one day prior to Trump’s conviction, reads: “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted 🎉 Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!! ❤️”
The fact that the judge has written to the involved parties may indicate truth to the inside knowledge of the poster. The letter from Justice Merchan reads, in full:
Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, “Michael Anderson,” states:
The comment was no longer visible when checked by The National Pulse.
Theoretically, if the comment is found to be true and a juror was discussing the verdict of the case with their cousin, Justice Merchan could rule a mistrial. Given his record of rulings against Trump and his daughter’s financial stake in the case, this is unlikely.
The only robe Merchan should be allowed to wear is a bath robe.

Thise involved with the case and those on the jury can’t comment, no law says no else can’t. How many on FR, FB, X, or anywhere else have commented on this case?

pretty much yeah..but maybe Merchan is doing this so he can say “See Im totally impartial we investigated this and it has no merit” that way he can have free reign to throw the book at Trump so who knows

yeah honestly I figured the jury would have a decision on that Friday afternoon, on that Thursday Turley had said the jury is going home for the day, so I figured Ok can go watch some wrestling, I open up freerepublic on my iphone and I see there is a verdict and Im like what, nah has to be a mistake the jury is going home..so this whack job can still be a whack job and have pertinent info, how did he know that exact moment there would be a verdict

I would think it should be easy to find out who the juror was.
Run the marriage licenses issued this year against the jurors names and Michael Anderson. There are only 12 jurors, so if there is a hit it is probably that juror.

I would think the official court site would have some rules. It would be enforced by the site monitors. I assume there are, for instance, rules against cursing or making death threats to court official. Just like FR can zot members.

As a “convicted felon” Trump raised at least 400 million in a few days. Maybe the rats are afraid sentencing DJT to prison will sop up even more millions and with a really pissed off public.
Did the judge have to reveal this? Could he have just said nothing?
