BREAKING: NY Judge Merchan Informs Lawyers of ‘My Cousin is a Juror, Trump is Getting Convicted’ Facebook Post Left on NY Court Page, Pre-Verdict.
In a new development in Trump’s Manhattan “hush money” case, Justice Merchan has communicated to the involved parties about an incident involving a comment left on the court system’s Facebook page. The comment, left on May 29, one day prior to Trump’s conviction, reads: “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted 🎉 Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!! ❤️”
The fact that the judge has written to the involved parties may indicate truth to the inside knowledge of the poster. The letter from Justice Merchan reads, in full:
Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, “Michael Anderson,” states:

Theoretically, if the comment is found to be true and a juror was discussing the verdict of the case with their cousin, Justice Merchan could rule a mistrial. Given his record of rulings against Trump and his daughter’s financial stake in the case, this is unlikely.

The jurist should have been tossed and alternate put in their place. As it is ,sounds like mistrail to me.

The guy who posted it days he was just joking. The juror says he didn't say anything.
What doesn't make any sense is why the judge would put out a letter, which is only going to inflame the public even more.

The jury was compromised? Grounds for a motion to mistrial (which will be dismissed by the judge of course).
they have to investigate this and find out if this person has a family member who was on that jury if he/she was than GAME OVER automatic MISTRIAL declared
Merchan had had plenty of reasons to rule a mistrial. He won’t do it for this one.
He will leave this mess for the appellate court (which won’t do anything,) and collect his prize for delivering the verdict the Democraps demanded.
The jury should have been sequestered. Optimally, the venue should have been changed.
This 100 IQ foreign born judge won’t declare a mistrial, but I would think this only enhances the chances of appeal courts laughing this entire case out of the building at some point.
Merchan should be in a Supermax solitary confinement cell yesterday.
It is yet another error in the case.
It is just common sense. It is just common morality. I dare to say that “it's the American way.”
First read and 2nd, 3rd, 4th reads - does nothing to change what looks like the judge is informing lawyers his cousin is a juror - on the Trump trial..........
However, while I don't have full faith in SCOTUS to do the right thing, I have zero faith that the state of New York's judicial system will.
And, they're likely to drag out their supporting response until after the election.
They better investigate to see if this is for real. If indeed the poster and a juror are cousins, even a claim of “I was joking” or “I didn’t say anything” can’t be believed.
Uh obvious question, was his cousin on the jury?
Yes, and so too should that P.O.S. Bragg who brought this nonsense to begin with.
