Alvin Bragg's Office Accused of Leaking Trump's Potential Sentence — Likely to Recommend a Year Behind Bars for Trump at Rikers Island (VIDEO)

The office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is backed by Soros, is now under fire for allegedly leaking sensitive sentencing information about former President Donald Trump to the far-left media.

In the wake of a trial widely criticized as a sham, where Trump was convicted on all 34 felony charges in a ‘hush money’ scandal, sources suggest that DA Bragg’s office may recommend Trump serve a year at the notorious Rikers Island.

Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime—a practice unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree that something bad happened.

..... Snip.....

According to Hostin, this recommendation serves not just as punishment but as a stern message to society that such conduct will not be tolerated again.

“The other thing I’d like to say is the other reason that they will do this is because he has shown an utter disregard for our institutions. And prosecutors, when you are recommending a sentence, you are not just recommending a sentence so that they can be rehabilitated or so that they can be punished. You’re sending a message to the community that this is not going to happen again. This is not okay. ”

“The other thing I want to say is that there’s another thing that they will likely recommend is a six-month split, six months at Rikers, and then the rest, five years—four and a half years of probation that is under New York law,” Hostin said.

Makes one almost wonder if there was a Higher Reason New York City was chosen on 9/11. With all due and profound sympathy for the innocent.

You’re actually wrong about NY.

NY, outside of 8–10 cities, is pretty RED. Like most “Blue States” Democrats in those cities, with healthy voter fraud, can run things because they “outnumber” the Republican voters.

Yes.
Any resistance by the Trump voters would be a pretext for martial law and a cancelled election.
Things are going to get wild before the summer is over.
There is no other GOP candidate who could defeat the swamp at the polls.

Jailing Trump would be the equivalent of Hitler’s ‘ENABLING ACT’, giving the swamp permanent power.

2020 wasn’t just a stolen election, it was a communist coup, and I don’t believe that they’ll give up power without bloodshed. That’s who they are, and that’s what communists have always done.
The only safety valve on this mounting pressure is for SCOTUS to vacate the verdict.
But does Roberts have the cojones?

It's not going to end the way you think it will....

No one says HOW it won't end the way they think it will. What do we do? Where do we go? Who stops the banks from turning off accounts as they did in Canada?

If they do in fact jail Trump, it will only further prove that our Republic is dead. I cannot type what I want to happen to THEM.

I’m amazed they haven’t started one with themselves. Would not be hard to get one cranked up with antifa and the bloods and/or crypts.

They better build an oval jail cell with a resolute desk.

As others have noted, the Supreme Court is the best (and perhaps only) hope.

Correct, and Bush V Gore blazes the path. Sure it was over the ballots but it was a state getting in the way of a federal election.

now, we also have all the courts running the other way in 2020 so it’s by far a slam dunk but it has a 100% chance of failure if it’s not tried.

“It is time for the USSC to step in and end this travesty of injustice.”

***************

If the USSC won’t intervene in an obvious case of lawfare by a Kangaroo court then “Equal Justice Under Law” should be removed from the face of the Supreme Court building.

Those words underly the principle that “no State can deprive particular persons or classes of persons of equal and impartial justice under the law.”

He can sentence Trump to whatever he likes. There is no way Trump isnt on the streets minutes after the sentence. This guy cannot deny bail while awaiting appeal and he knows the verdict will be overturned eventually. This is all symbolic IMHO and trying cast Trump as Jeffery Dahmer when in reality he is an innocent man. It is already backfiring spectacularly.

When the Dems realize that this is all backfiring, they will give him a “light” sentence, maybe a $1 million fine.

Question: If Trump is elected president while incarcerated, can he immediately pardon himself?

No. Trump was “convicted” of New York state crimes. Only the governor of NY can issue a pardon here.

The Supreme Court of the U.S. is NOT THE ONLY HOPE. The American people are sovereign and ALL of these criminal courts can and should be ignored. The people THEMSELVES can stop this abuse of law and fundamental rights. The day of reckoning is coming and cannot be stopped by a tiny group of people in black robes. The Declaration of Independence settled that a LOOOOONG time ago.

Hi.

“No. Trump was “convicted” of New York state crimes. Only the governor of NY can issue a pardon here.”

Correct.

On January 20, 2025 if elected he can declare NY in rebellion and order the Marines to release him.

I can see splody heads in the future.

Another reason to jail Trump immediately is to save Biden from having to debate him due to his declining mentality.

The debate is scheduled for 6/27 and sentencing isn't until 7/11.
