Reactions from parties in Israel’s governing coalition confirmed Saturday that U.S. President Joe Biden lied to the world when he claimed a proposal for a ceasefire and hostage deal had come from the Israeli government.
As Breitbart News reported, Biden presented a three-part proposal on Friday and claimed, four times, that it was Israel’s proposal.
Biden waited until the onset of the Jewish Sabbath to make his remarks, making it more difficult for the Israeli government to respond. Notably, the proposal did not call for the destruction or disarmament of Hamas, and Biden told Israelis in his speech that they could not expect “total victory.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued two separate statements indicating that Biden’s proposal was not, in fact, Israel’s proposal. Former President Barack Obama let slip that the proposal was actually Biden’s, and not Israel’s proposal.
Hamas, however, reacted favorably, since the deal would allow the terror group to survive.
As the Sabbath ended, two of the right-wing parties in Netanyahu’s coalition blasted the deal and said they would not be part of any government that allowed Hamas to survive the war, nor agree to a deal that would do the same.
It was a confirmation that the so-called Israeli “proposal” had not, in fact, been proposed by the Israeli government at all.
Biden’s intent appears to have been to box Israel into a deal that Hamas would have approved, making it harder for Israel to reject it.
Rather than claiming credit for the proposal, he presented it as if it had come from Israel, which would serve to undermine trust between Netanyahu and the right-wing parties in his coalition, bringing down the Israeli government.

Not only did Biden lie, he lied using federal regulated telecommunications systems and maybe even U.S. interstate postal mail in order to interfere with democracy in the next election.
There needs to be a full investigation; Biden needs to testify under oath. If Biden lies under oath, he must be held accountable to the full extent of the law.
No man, or menstruating person, is above the law; and all that.

Just be cause Uncle Joe said it doesn't mean he's lying because he just repeats what he's told. That's the legal position. Joe is just a talking piece of meat.
How could Brandon expect anyone to believe it was an Israeli proposal that Bibi knew nothing about?

One of the problems with Biden’s lie is that he told it too soon. It is easy to ask the Israeli government if this peace proposal really came from Israel. Now that we know that Biden lied, the Republicans at the Republican National Convention can talk about Biden’s lie with their lineup of speakers.
So we abandon an actual democracy and sovereign state with Israel, a nation fighting for it’s very existence that was attacked without provocation.
But we nearly unquestionably back a war in Ukraine where you have a de facto dictator now, with a horrible human rights record, a nation that has a puppet president, and where a preventable war was caused by putting Russia in an impossible security situation by expanding NATO to their border.
All this is to sway Israeli’s to turn on Bibi.
Sky News had it as a fake ‘Israeli’ offer within a few hours. They must have good sources near Netanyahu.
I remind people that Bibi is still on trial for his fraud case.
Sky News is pretty conservative as media sources go. Isn’t this the second time Biden has pulled this stunt?

This supposed deal is the exact deal that Hamas proposed a month ago the one Israel rejected.. Biden wanted to put Israel in a corner forcing them into this but they won’t the only one who likes it is Gantz who is a leftist schmuck he’s who Obama and Biden wanted in power instead of bibi

This is the type of maneuver Osama Obama would pull. Very dirty.
No truces, ceasefires, "peace talks", "negotiations", etc. etc. Just annihilation of the terrorist. Nothing else works.
