Am I The Only One – Aaron Lewis
My work here is done!
And dangerous to your life and property.
Bible in a Year :
I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.
President Abraham Lincoln had emancipated people held in slavery two-and-a half-years earlier and the Confederacy had surrendered, yet the state of Texas still hadn’t acknowledged the freedom of enslaved persons. However, on June 19, 1865, Union army general Gordon Granger rode into Galveston, Texas, and demanded that all enslaved persons be released. Imagine the shock and joy as shackles fell off and those in bondage heard the pronouncement of freedom.
God sees the oppressed, and He’ll ultimately announce freedom for those under the weight of injustice. This is true now just as it was true in Moses’ day. God appeared to him from a burning bush with an urgent message: “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt” (Exodus 3:7). He not only saw Egypt’s brutality against Israel—but He also planned to do something about it. “I have come down to rescue them,” God declared, “and to bring them . . . into a good and spacious land” (v. 8). He intended to declare freedom to Israel, and Moses would be the mouthpiece. “I am sending you to Pharaoh,” God told His servant, “to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt” (v. 10).
Though God’s timing may not happen as quickly as we hope, one day He’ll free us from all bondage and injustice. He gives hope and liberation to all who are oppressed.
Reflect & Pray
How have you seen God work to help the oppressed? How does He invite you to participate in His work?
Dear God, there’s so much oppression in the story of our world. It’s easy to despair. Please help me stay attuned to Your intention to announce freedom.
Lol well done! You may now rest for the remainder of the day lol.
Very dangerous. But you have to consider the big picture - as you lay dying on the ground, bleeding out after you’ve been robbed and shot, you can find solace in not being a racist. Although, if you think about it, there’s a pretty good chance that this event would turn you into one!
I wonder what the radical feminists on college campuses who are protesting would think about the actual words and policies of the Quran? They know neither the constitution nor the Quran, probably not the Bible either
Jimmy Carter was a terrible president, but he was a personally good man and loved America.
You got post #2000!
We definitely need some freedom from corruption, and a godly leader, like the one in El Salvador now, Hungary, and a few other places.
got a little bit of the flu, so got a bit melancholy, so the Perfect Days movie really helped and got me thinking about our present situation in a different lite.
Glad you are feeling better Rusty, stinky but feeling better.
j/k
Hope you are A1 soon.

Well my outdoor time didn’t make it to 3 hours. Hot ! My clothes drenched when I came in. So on back deck which is now cooler than my bedroom. Son still sleeping so can’t putter in kitchen
President of El Salvador, a Christian man, feels very confident about it because he had to fight through the same sort of corruption. Great interview by Tucker Carlson
Pastor Cioccolanti, a Trump Supporter from Australia also has a similar opinion, but with stipulations. He referred to Trump's statement that this sort of juridical injustice has never happened. Well it has never happened to a US president, but it certainly has happened to many citizens. He also states that these trials he is going through has been from God to create in him a certain character that will make him truly a godly leader. He says that God is using this to humble President Trump to surrender his efforts to God, to be filled with the Holy Spirti, much like King David's dependence of God. I agree, This is not an accident. He also refers to Kim Clemment's prophecy that Trump would be elected to a 2nd term if he humbles himself and gets filled with the Holy Spirit. Kim died before President Trump was elected and many of us know about this prophecy.
We really need to pray that this happens to Trump, and realize that God does use adversity to mold character. The encouraging vid's are listed below.
