I’m not with surprised at stories in the 1800s or earlier at how many marriages and children some women have. Childbirth was pretty dangerous. And outliving a lot of husbands has to have made life very hard

Raised bed is going great guns. Put a few cages in for the tomato plants. Yes, lots of rain, but I did water it the other day as it seems to dry out quickly. I think that’s because it’s raised, and the metal grain bin heats up with the sun, so it’s getting more dried out than it normally would. I’m all hooked up to hoses on each side of the house, so it’s easy to water. All of my lettuces are growing like crazy.....how can I eat all of that lettuce at one time!?
My flower pots are taking off so well this year! I was looking at them today - so full and colorful. But for Cotton’s arms, I would send you some updated pics. Maybe in a couple of weeks I will....or when I get my first tomatoes! The rhubarb is doing well also.
Most of those perennial gardens with the ponds, sitting areas, that CB posted for me awhile ago are at Natalie’s house. I have one nice semi-circle garden, plus my flower pots and hanging baskets. The lush, beautiful gardens are definitely not mine lol. I may send a pic when those are blooming - the colors are just starting to come out.
Her vegetable garden is out by one of the barns - it’s about a half acre. I haven’t seen it this year, but she’s had issues with too much rain, hail damage, wind, etc. It seems to be taking off though....at least the weeds are. The small fruit orchard is by the house, on the far side of the driveway. Those trees are doing fine.
How are your raised beds doing? I also wondered where you were putting all of that mulch.....did you put in a new garden?
Dear God, norsky. I know better than to say that this can’t be true, because it sounds like exactly what they want to do. Add to that, I trust Michael Yon. The confusing part is that it seems to say that we should be vaccinated? That goes against what I’ve thought....that the vax is solely for getting mRNA into the body.
Cotton, I wasn’t more than 10 feet away from her head stone-
I just turned my head, and there it was.
It was PRISTINE white, very well tended, with gifts (sage bundles. sweet grass braids and more)
I think Molly Ockett was having fun with me, and finally relented!
I think she continues to help our state, by her legends, and her medicinal cures.

There’s a movie? Lol I’m not up to date at all. I can’t remember the last time I watched television. I thought it was a series from a couple of years ago. I didn’t know there were movies. Oh well....I don’t even know how to turn the tv on anyway lol...I forgot!

Well, he is 100% cat, lol
The mulch is on a small section of lawn between the mobile home and parking area. I had described earlier that I’ve put a double layer of cardboard and Intended to cover that with the tree clipping /shred but couldn’t find any so just using brown mulch atop the cardboard.
Along the parking areas I have smaller planters with some herbs but primarily mixed flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. In smaller containers I have sunflowers . Have four banana trees planted . Small divisions from friends yard. The containers dry out quickly as you said for the bin
The little planters aren’t especially attractive hoping when I finish all will be improved. I’ll take a couple pix where you can see cardboard still not covered
Ideally the grass would have been removed to do it properly. Too much labor involved in that for me even though it’s a small area

When we have our Mexican food recipe day, I was going to post the recipe. But posting pictures as you go with spongebob. Huh? I didn’t say spongebob. I said it’s more creative. Ix SpongeBob even a thing anymore? That was from when my son was growing up
