I’m not with surprised at stories in the 1800s or earlier at how many marriages and children some women have. Childbirth was pretty dangerous. And outliving a lot of husbands has to have made life very hard

Cotton, I wasn’t more than 10 feet away from her head stone-
I just turned my head, and there it was.

It was PRISTINE white, very well tended, with gifts (sage bundles. sweet grass braids and more)

I think Molly Ockett was having fun with me, and finally relented!

I think she continues to help our state, by her legends, and her medicinal cures.
Maybe in return, they honor her by
keeping it so. Or it could be her descendants, too!

Molly is credited for making “Birch beer!”
Have you ever tried that when you were a kid?
It’s good!
