Deliberations resume this morning, after Merchan rereads instructions back to the jurors. Thoughts?
And what the jurors needed to hear about was the actual laws in question.
Merchan deliberately withheld crucial information from the jurors. If I was them I would send back an immediate “Not Guilty” verdict with a note saying, “Kiss My *ss”
Cohen could have cared less about Melania’s feelings He made up that story later
In Accounting those kinds of nit-picking are known as “Picking the fly shit out of the pepper”.
= = =
Love it. From a REAL Accountant.
I was going to wonder, if I got my sewer bill, if it would have flushes for #1s different than for #2s.
They should ask him for them every day.
Twice sometimes.
I think a lot of it will have to come down to the absolutely bizarre and confusing jury instructions. I believe they’ve asked for those to be reread twice so far, half to go back to review testimony and I suspect will hear request for jury instructions at least a few more times
Cohen wanted Trump to like him again, thinking this is how he would get back into Trump’s good graces, see I did you this HUGE favor, am I back in now are we good..that’s why he did it
Every hour on the hour
A few pages at a time
I don't think the judge can stay...
All the while being targeted by this obamaumao-ite former US Atty for N. Alabama until 2017... a real piece of work who wrote this bullcrap on the Brennancenter.org (for dead SCOTUS justice Brennan a Leftist for decades appt’d by Eisenhower— a real loser hole).
She’s sitting in the courtroom daily, targeting these jurors for harrassment— it is a team effort. A jury with two attorneys on it— un heard of. And they comm you can bet with this biotch:

I think Melanie is tougher than that though
Cohen didn’t know her that well
Even if you read his instructions, they were still extremely confusing to try to comprehend. I don’t even understand how you can begin to comprehend them as someone reads it to you and you try to scribble down notes.
You’re absolutely correct FRiend.
However, given the depths to which this country has sunk, and the seemingly growing disbelief in and outright rebellion against Almighty God, it would be an act of holy mercy for God to save Trump.
If He wanted to destroy this country as punishment for our sins...
I’ll just let you finish that thought in your own way.
(Sorry for injecting this into the thread. We now return to this travesty against justice.)
Yeah I heard some of the instructions being read again and again it is VERY confusing..first I see how the verdict has to be unanimous so I thought “Ok good this prick judge changed his tune and fixed it” but then I see the same thing again, underlining crime you dont have to be unanimous, WTF this isnt Soup Plantation, you can’t mix and match
Two sets of 11 counts for payments. 12 counts for vouchers.
That was my thought as well.
And Merchan blocked Trump from having the former FEC commissioner testify explaining crucial aspects of the law to the jury exonerating Trump.
“Judge Merchan has so restricted my testimony that defense has decided not to call me. Now, it’s elementary that the judge instructs the jury on the law, so I understand his reluctance,” former FEC Commissioner Bradley Smith posted on X on Monday
“Legal expense” was one of these categories in the Trump Organization’s accounting system, according to evidence presented during the trial. McConney instructed an accountant to categorize the payments to Cohen as legal expenses “because we were paying a lawyer,” he testified.“[Legal expense] was basically part of a dropdown menu?” Trump’s attorney Emil Bove asked during his cross-examination of McConney.
“Yes,” McConney replied.
“These categories, there was a level of rigidity to them, right?” Bove asked, observing how the accounting computer program was a product of the 1990s.
“Yes,” McConney said.
“If you are talking about payments to an attorney, legal expenses, that was the account [category] that was used, right?” Bove asked.
“Yes, sir,” McConney said.
There is no special subcategory for "Fee associated with non-disclosure agreement", which is of course, a legal issue.
As for the efforts to conceal the payments to Daniels, i.e. using a shell company to make payment, this is not illegal. Anyone paying someone to stop making salacious accusations, true or false, is going to want to keep such payments private.
Maybe the judge plans to retire real soon after all his kid made about 100 Mil
He doesn’t care if he’s fired/disbarred
But you don’t know if it rained all night or began 10 minutes ago
——
Or if Antifa opened a fire hydrant while hiding behind their umbrellas.
Listening to FOX, they mentioned a while ago the possibility that the same persons could vote Yes on each of the potential underlying crimes, get their vote counted multiple times as a result to reach the judge’s threshold for conviction.. So that 4 votes for each is rigged.
