Deliberations resume this morning, after Merchan rereads instructions back to the jurors. Thoughts?
I believe that’s NYS rules.
Same. I can’t believe this is happening.
Oh look, the two faced lair is back. So which is it today, are you supporting the persecution of Trump again? You still think if Trump is convicted it helps you, desanctonious and crispycream? That’s some pretty low life BS on your part. I will never forget you supported all this BS before you started pretending you don’t.
I'll go back and see if all 34 counts are identical.
The judge is again instructing that the jury can discharge the entirety of the testimony of a witness who has lied previously or in the testimony.
They are hearing again that they must find corroboration of the testimony of Cohen because he is being treated as an accomplice. Thus, even if they find Cohen’s testimony “believable,” they still must have corroborating evidence to support that testimony.

If that juror is deliberating with the others, then Merchan can’t release the juror, can he? Though with Merchan, what is legal doesn’t seem to be an issue. He does what he wants.
These cases against Trump show me that the court system can be stacked against anyone.
I’ve had very little experience with the courts, so this is all quite new to me.
I suspect Merchan’s vague instructions to get the jurors to convict on the felony were so confusing that some of the jurors
resorted to news accounts and cable commentary last night for a clue as to what the hell he was talking about.
*** The jury is asking for instructions on count one***
What is the charge on count one?

Here are President Trump’s arrival comments this morning from Youtube with transcript.
Trump is the first of the the Biden democrat party trials to happen if they can put Trump in prison.
The just us system in action aka democrat democracy.

isn't evidence.
They are now hearing the most troubling aspect of the instructions: that they do not have to be unanimous on what actually occurred on the second crime that motivated the falsification of the business records. They need only be unanimous that the business records were falsified to use “unlawful means” in the form of one of the three suggested crimes. That includes federal election violations, falsification of business records, or tax violations. For critics, this means that Trump could be convicted in a divided 4-4-4 jury with only a few jurors agreeing on the underlying intent linked to a specific secondary crime
I believe all counts are the same...It’s been said over and over....there is really only one count.
“I’m also hanging onto hope that the jury will hang.”
And I am hoping the judge will hang. He is a disgrace to the American justice system. This debacle is being allowed, while many sit and watch. His actions make me despise my beloved country and I bet I am not the only one feeling this.
Alan Dershowitz says he's seen it done.
Why don’t you go crawl back under your rock? No one is listening or cares about what you are ranting about, your insults are stale, you are not even a distraction, simply embarrassing yourself.
And people get that kind of info via their cell phone nowadays. I imagine that in a case where the jury has been told not to, that an appeal could involve subpoenaed phones to see if any jurists were naughty.
I’m hoping for an acquittal. If the jury is hung...it can be tried again and that would start almost immediately...in fact I bet the paperwork is ready to go.
