Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., has submitted an official misconduct complaint to the New York State Unified Court System regarding the allegedly “random” selection of Juan Merchan as the judge over the ongoing case against former President Donald Trump in Manhattan, she announced Tuesday evening.
Her complaint comes toward the end of a criminal trial in which Trump has faced 34 felony charges stemming from accusations that he instructed his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to pay “hush money” to pornographer Stormy Daniels to conceal an alleged past affair. Trump is accused of falsifying financial records by failing to label these payments as campaign expenses, an absurd allegation given that labeling such payments as campaign expenses would have been illegal.
Stefanik’s complaint pertains to Merchan’s assignment to three separate criminal cases related to Trump, including his ongoing criminal trial, the previous trial against the Trump Organization, and the upcoming trial against Trump ally Steve Bannon. The New York State Unified Court System’s rules state that criminal cases are assigned to judges randomly, but Stefanik doubts this rule was followed in Democrats’ lawfare crusade, which has proved to be their top 2024 campaign strategy.
“If justices were indeed being randomly assigned in the Criminal Term, the probability of two specific criminal cases being assigned to the same justice is quite low, and the probability of three specific criminal cases being assigned to the same justice is infinitesimally small. And yet, we see Acting Justice Merchan on all three cases,” Stefanik wrote in her misconduct complaint addressed to the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct and Inspector General Kay-Ann Porter Campbell.

Right now the problem in NY is not everybody in the DOJ, which did not charge Trump with any of this. Certain key characters in the DOJ (Garland, Wray) need to be fired. Who else? DOJ should be cracking down on Merchan, and I would take a hard look at Hochul. Colangelo (Biden moved him from DOJ to help Bragg) should be in trouble, but the Biden gang is in on this too. We have a lot more to do.
I was surprised to hear Steve Bannon’s case “coincidentally” got “randomly assigned” to Merchan. Like his assignment to oversee the Trump case.

A misconduct allegation can, if serious enough, get a judge kicked off the bench or an attorney disbarred. But this isn’t it. The judge didn’t do the selecting, the chief administrative justice of the New York Unified Court System is the one in charge of selecting, so the complaint won’t stand.
Only reason that we’re hearing about Biden talking from the White House once the verdict is known is because they know it’s going to be a conviction
It’s like the third impeachment just feel so helpless sometimes I tell you yeah yeah we all vote but it doesn’t seem to mean anything anymore. This is all caused by the Democrats.

The Democrats orchestrated along with themselves the January 6 thing. It’s being spoken about like it’s a known fact as part of our history when really they are the ones that set it up.
I have family members to tell me Trump is crazy based on lies. I stopped trying to explain everything to them because they they won’t hear it. They’re convinced and any goodness Biden has also based on lies. He’s an evil person along with everyone else the wife not based on lies the evidence is overwhelming putting Trump on trial.

It is easy to imagine that someone is coercing this Judge Merchan to act in the manner he is acting.
My question: One human being with a beating heart decided that Merchan shall be the appointed judge. By what method was that individual being coerced to appoint Merchan?
Who, exactly, was that person?
That is who I’d investigate.
There may be a lottery system in the court to draw Judges, but there is a way to override that if a judge recuses from a case, or if a judge just downright refuses to be on a case. That is when the beating heat makes the choice. I may be wrong, but let us find out who made the appointment.
